how to follow your Facebook friends' status updates with Twitter

I was reading on another forum a thread about how to follow your Facebook friends' status updates with Twitter. One of the people posted this link with a Video Demo:
http://www.owensdomain.com/2009/02/27/video-demo-how-to-follow-your-facebook-friends-status-updates-with-twitter/
First thing you have to do is create an account with http://www.twitterfeed.com/
For the rest of the procedure, follow the instructions in the Video Demo.
Enjoy

  • You're welcome

twitterfeed.com : feed your blog to twitter is in essence a website which offers a free service for automatically posting your blog entries straight into your Twitter account. This way your Twitter followers will be able to read those blog posts which look interesting to them. This is a particularly useful tool for businesses, because it saves them time and energy posting messages to their Twitter account.

Actually, you can get the best of both worlds with HootSuite. It handles Twitter and Facebook feeds, as well as a few other social networks, I believe.

Indeed. It also imports feeds from other sources.

Hootsuite is by far the best Twitter client available... IMHO...

I believe there's also a Hootsuite iPod touch/iPhone app? I've never used it, but I think it exists.

Does anyone uses Tweetdeck? Would Hootsuite be better than Tweetdeck, and if, why? I just use Tweetdeck occassionally, but right now I'm trying out ping.fm which looks like another good alternative. What would you recommend most of all these integrator services?

          Thanks for your feedback

I've heard of Tweetdeck (and a lot of people really like it) I'm just don't believe it follows Facebook updates/status, etc. However, it is available on the Android phone, if that's a plus for anyone.

    Thanks for the tip
I've just signed up with hootsuite and tried it out. And it indeed works really well. This is a great improvement for me in managing my workload. The interface is really user-friendly and busy people can save a lot of time using this free service. I definitely recommend hootsuite: http://hootsuite.com/
