Best way to accept Paypal for digital products?

Paypal gives a bunch of different suggestions for taking payments for the sale of digital (downloaded) products. What, in your opinion, is the best one to use?

I use DL Guard. Its a great product. I'm surprised to see Eddie promoting his own product here, last I new he was a Mod on the DL Guard Support forum and a big DL Guard Fan.

This has thrown me for a loop.

Anyway I don't know anything about The Download Solution, but DL Guard has always been great for me and Sam Stephens support is always great too.

I just downloaded and installed DL Guard (Download Guard) the weekend before last. It cost about $150 but was pretty easy to set up and came highly recommended by another marketer. I can create the links to my digital products and then link to them on my site (WordPress, in my case), etc.

E-junkie has lots of useful features, including an affiliate program (just like Clickbank), and is probably the most affordable option for delivering digital products (at $5 per month).

If you are selling digital products without affiliate, try bytecommerce[dot]com. I tried it out and works fine. It allows you to safely sercure your downloads as well as the number of downloads each buyer can make. Most importantly, it's FREE (you have to give a commission to bytecommerce for every 20th product sold).

Most affordable depends on many variables. (size of downloads, number of sales, and sometimes even sale price)

Stray away from it being a digital product... PayPal does not like digital products and can increase the risk of the funds being frozen or the account being limited. Burn it to disc, send it out, acquire the tracking numbers, and that works great as proof of the item being shipped.

I've been selling digital products for a couple years. Paypal never froze my funds for this. It's a good recommendation though sicne adds an element of professionalism if you do drop net shipping of your digital products.

Payloadz is also good. But Clickbank is probably better because it has more affiliates to promote your products.
