Questions on launching a Clickbank product

Hey Guys,

I am planning on doing my first clickbank launch in a few months and I am trying to be as prepared as possible. Any help with these questions are appreciated.

1.) Do products in a pre-launch not show up in the clickbank marketplace?

For example: I am on Joel Marion (fitness specialist) affiliate mailing list from his previous launches and he has a new product coming out. Although he has sent out a clickbank link for it to affiliates already on his list, it is nowhere to be found in the marketplace.

2.) Is their an official way even if its a paid for announcement to let all or many clickbank affiliates know of new product launches? If not through clickbank how do people normally find out about launches in the pre-launch phase?

3.) Clickbank works on a last click gets the commission basis, correct? In most launches, their is a free report giveaway to build the list for that launch. Then the product owner has your client or leads e-mail address. They then continue to send out their pre-launch material to them. Is the offer owner prevented in some way from replacing your cookie or having an affiliate id? Meaning if they send them more pre-launch updates does your cookie stay intact or does it negate yours? In my launch I don't want to screw any affiliates and I couldn't find any complete info on this anywhere.

Thanks for your help,

Ryan

As far as I know if the person paid the activation fee for the vendor account it should show up in the marketplace within 24 hours. Also the person may have had a squeeze page there for over a month and then the product would drop out of the marketplace for no sales for a month until launch sales come in, then it will show up within 24 hours again. These are some possibilities.

There cookie will stay intact for 60 days with Clickbank. So as long as you launch within 60 days you are good. But the sooner the better.

Don't send your own affiliate id to overwrite your affiliates if this is what your asking as they won't like it.

One question on jvnotifypro, is that all IM related launches? I am going to be doing a fitness launch. Not saying it is but everything I saw on the home page was IM software or programs.
