Hey Team,

Just watched a few really interesting videos about the ebay partner network, I started out as an ebay power seller (and still at it) Before doing other things on the internet like building lists etc I dont know why ive never thought about being an ebay affiliate before.....it just never crossed my mind until i received these videos about the program.

Has any of you experienced IMs in here had any experience or had good results with the ebay partner network.

Please let me know what your thoughts on the affiliate program are.

Many Thanks

Right now, it's very difficult to get approved unless you have a top notch site that has proven traffic and longevity. The days of getting approved with just having a brand new one page 'review' site are long gone.

It used to be more lucrative before they switched from a commission payout plan to a hybrid pay-per-click plan based on the nebulous quality of your traffic. Now you have to drive more buying traffic to get a decent payout where before it was much easier to earn good money.

For most physical product related niches it will still pay better than Adsense or Amazon. Adsense generally pays out about 5 cents or less a click for the same niches and Amazon, while it pays commission, has a very short cookie time so unless they buy right away you probably won't get paid.

In other words, it used to be one of the most lucrative affiliate programs out there from about 2007 until 2009. Now, it's much tougher in many ways but you can still make decent money.

If you are selling your own physical products, it would seem eBay is a great way to develop a list of future buyers based on the bids.

If you are offering your expertise and services to other clients that sell physical products, it would seem that you could help them accomplish the same goal of building up a list of potential buyers.

I've been a member for a while now, and its not as lucrative as it was. However, I make more money with EPN every month than I do as an Amazon affiliate.

I do have an old BANS type store that still gets a decent amount of traffic and sales, which is about half of my earnings on EPN. If you can get into the network it can be a good addition, especially for marketing/promoting physical products.
