How to distribute pro looking videos to my list

Hello,

This is my first post on this forum and I was wondering if you guys can help me with an issue I'm having regarding the video distribution.

I have created 7 "bribe" videos that I want to send out to my subscribers once they opt in. Mail Chimp will be used as a vehicle to distribute the videos, but there are 3 things that are causing my IT and me problems:


1. Where do we put the videos so that they have the professional look and feel like the videos of Any Jenkins, Frank Kern and the rest?

My IT says that putting 7 videos (each has about 200-300 mb) on my server (Hostgator's baby croc) will result in suboptimal experience for the viewer and that I should host them on Youtube or some site like that, and embed them on my domain.

All fine and well but that leads us to my second question which is...


2. How do I make sure that the subscribers are NOT going to send links to their buddies who will then watch my videos without opting in?

So if I upload them to YT and embed them on my domain they will work fine, but they can be seen by just about anyone who has the link. I want them opting in first, and then receiving the videos.


3. How do I stop the subscribers from prematurely seeing all my videos?

The videos will be delivered to them with Mail Chimp every 3 days and I don't want them to seeing all the videos at once.

2 out of 7 videos will be uploaded on TY and other video sites and will serve as teasers for people to opt in and get the remaining 5.

From what I read, Kajabi might be the solution but I'd like to avoid paying for it since I do not have a product (yet) and I just want to use videos to help grow my Martial Arts business.

    I think you worry a little to much, host on youtube simply put a link to a capture page in the description if your video is good then they will hit the link, as far as optins sending to there buddies Put a lead frame with a LCP address at the beginning and end, , again if the video is good , they will want to know more about you and visit the page, Good Luck, I wish everyone of my followers passed my content onto 10 friends

    You can always use a private youtube link so it won't be available to watch to the average youtube visitor but just your subscribers when you send it to them.

    Your videos do not have to be 200MB. Depending on the length, you can easily get them under 20MB. You just need to compress them. Also consider converting them to FLV format, which is what the Kajabi page used.

    When hosting your videos look into Amazon S3... You can host them in a bucket there and pay literally pennies a month and it won't crap out on you when you get a lot of traffic.

      suggest amazon s3 (that's what kajabi uses anyway)

      i'm using kajabi and its v buggy so dont rush!


      there is a service called ezs3 (small monthly fee) which gives you a raft of players and makes s3 easier to use (i haven't used it )

        I didn't know you could host videos on Screencast? I use it with Jing to host my pics.
