Magically Appearing Payment Button - Where To Get Script?

Does anyone know where I can get the HTML/PHP code to delay the showing of a payment button on a page? I have a video on my page and want to show the payment link only a few minutes into the video. Thanks!!

UPDATE - I found a very useful thread on this forum after searching for "delayed payment button". It gives me the answer. Its a simple, free solution. The forum won't let me put the URL as I've too few posts. But searching on: Ryan Deiss payment button delayed etc will bring it up. What a great forum this is.

Just give them the payment button from the start below the video. For you have no idea how pissed I get when I am forced to watch these dam videos for 10 minutes when I was alread convinced the product may be worth a shot. Do not make your traffic suffer longer then they need to just give them the ability to buy off the bat. Your best bet would be to use a service like this for those who watched the video and are still not too certain. You then simply tell them at the end to sign up to your email list to get more free information then sell it to them again later after you have built their trust.

Thanks for the input. All this is new to me. I'm actually following the steps given in a WSO but couldn't get the code given to work there. I think each situation might be different. I'll remember what you said and hope to do split testing. For me, personally, if I'm not intending to buy anything, and just looking for free information, and I'm directed to a page to watch a video and see a payment link, I'd probably not watch it as I'm forewarned I'm going to be sold to.

Why would you want something like that? I've learnt ABC (Always Be Closing), but maybe I'm missing something here. Please clarify, thanks

You need to build some kind of trust and relationship with a prospect before he or she will be more inclined to be a customer. This is usually done over weeks when useful information is drip fed to prospects. In a video sales letter, this process is telescoped. Useful content is given first before asking for the close, at which time the pay button magically appears. This is all attempted in the span of a few minutes of video time, rather than the usual few weeks. If you ask for the close at the outset, you'll meet with more resistance as viewers are not yet pre-sold.

However, I am a newbie and have made almost nothing from IM. So I'm speaking off the top of my head. I'm hoping someone with experience will jump in here.

Again you are doing like Mr Launch formula does. This maywork but all it does is annoy the heck out of people who could be buyers. Why not build a simple sales page with a headline and tell them to watch the video. Then at the end of the video tell them to scroll to the bottom of the page to place their order. Directly after the video you simply need to reiterrate what the benefits of your product are with a few bullet points. Basically taking the entire video and building text versions of it to once again give them an idea as to what they will be getting.

The method you are talking about is mostly used by the guys getting ready for a big launch. They initailly do not go into a sales pitch in the video but they build a series of videos all leading up to the product. Again you are better off just giving them the buy link from the start for it gets anoying when you are forced to watch a ten minute video if you where convinced it may be something worth trying in the first 2 minutes. Now you are forced to wait another ten minutes for the video to finish before you can attempt to buy what they have to offer.

If you are worried they will leave with out buying then simply. Have the sales page be a video and a email optin form. Now you are building your list of potetial customers and there is no need to force them to watch the entire video before they have a chance to take action. Give them the chance to take action right away you will be better off in the long run. Then sell to them in your email series while providing more free information.

Second keep in mind you have exactly 3 seconds to get your visitors attention. Depending upon who you are using for your host it could take upwards of 7 seconds for that video to even begin to start playing and if the person is still on dial up you may as well forget them even staying on your page to watch it they will just move to another site who offers the same thing but they could find the buy link with out having to wait for a 10min video.

Thanks for pointing out the alternative strategies.

The delayed payment button idea is a simple one, something an internet marketing newbie like me can easily implement. It isn't my idea but that of another internet marketer who is still getting Clickbank payments from a series of YouTube videos he uploaded a couple of years ago. He tests a lot rather than depend on personal experience.

I haven't any Clickbank sales, so he's got my ear
