Cloaking Affiliate Links in Aweber

Hey guys!

So how do I take the coding I have from a cloaking software and put it into a message/broadcast on Aweber.

They told me to just hyperlink it but I haven't heard too many IMers doing that.

Ideas?

Thanks,

A

Aweber original build-in link cloak support.

mean any link you and inside aweber follow-up message is cloak automatic by Aweber.

in your case, cloaking a link by your cloaking software & put it inside aweber message, I think is double cloaking.

y the way, what you mean colding for cloak? (is it still a link?)

Exactly what I was going to say. For your hyperlink question, this is actually more common than you think and is a very easy way to "hide" links. It's easy to do from aweber too, you simply highlight the text and right click then select "insert/edit hyperlink" or you can click the icon up top that looks like a chain.

You can also just copy and paste the link if you don't want to use a hyperlink.

However, as mentioned, aweber automatically cloaks and tracks any links you put in your emails so you don't need to cloak them again if you don't want.

Hope this helps.

Hey thanks for the responses guys!

My whole goal was to just clean them up. Aweber does that yes, but they're these big long crazy looking links.

I was hoping for more of a www.example.com/recommends/example with an affiliate link hidden behind there.

Is that a hyperlink? I asked someone about it one time and thats where I found out about "cloaking". He sent me a crazy code he uses on his emails to get it in there.... thats where he lost me :)
