What are some good ways to getting new customers for a Low Fat Yogurt store?

I know that I can get them to sign up when we have certain flavors coming out or deals.

Do a punch card where they get the 10th free.

What else could we do?

  • if you mean a on line store then maybe offer a recipe for free. or anything relating to yogurt for free.

if you mean a real life store than i suggest you create mini samples of your product. then give them away to passer-byes on the street. this way you raise awareness of what your offering and when they feel like having yogurt they will come to your store.

    all the best

  • having had a keen interest in business i have seen many documentaries on new business start up. from what i know here are some tips:

    * if you haven't already opened your store and are under construction, have a big notice
saying >your store name< is coming!. this generates a buzz around your store and peaks interest. so when launch date approaches you will already have had built up a band of followers eager to see what you have to offer.

    * on the launch date have a promotions day. as i said in my last post you must offer
mini samples of you produce for free. this creates brand consciousness. get your friends
and family around and approach people walking by your store and offer them free samples of your yogurts.use this as an excuse to tell the public what your store is and what you stand for.
    the more hype the better.
dress them up as a clown or something! do a full day of promotions to get the ball rolling

    * have a trial offer period. again on the launch day lower all prices so more and more
people are tempted to buy. (there was a fast food restaurant that opened in my area. they had a trial offer of their food on the week end they opened where everything on the menu was priced like 30% the normal price! it worked. i am now a loyal costumer of theirs)

    * hand out menus to the homes in the local area of the store. i get many of them posted to my house. does it work? yes it does. i have bought take out food from menus posted to my house. of course you must have clear directions and contact number on the menu.

    after launch date:

*have special offers. like lunch time offers etc..
*approach local businesses and offer customers a delivery service for lunch time. local
businesses will have workers that eat out at lunch time. you must target them and offer
them incentive by offering a delivery service. that way you can have a loyal recurring
    customer base.

thats all i can think of.

    hope this helps.
