Hi Warrior!

I have a question that's puzzling me, is anyone using the payment site alertpay?
Now I do realize they have nothing on PayPal, but they offer good services for
websites that compensate on multi-levels.

I wonder if anyone is actually using this, and how your experience has been.

What is your experience with them, if any???

I've used them a few times for people that can't pay through Clickbank or Paypal.

I've never had a problem with them, and now that they offer direct credit card payments without creating an account, and better methods to withdraw your money, they seem to be a nice system.

I haven't used them heavily though.

Mostly just for integrating DLGuard, but I have a bunch of clients that are using them.

    cheers

Yeah, i'd like to know more about them also. It puts prospects off if they'll have to sign up
b/4 they can pay you, but now that they don't do that anymore, well, i guess it would
      be worth a try.

      What do you think warriors?

I singed up a long time ago and tried their IPN system. Seems to work okay.

The problem is that PayPal is so used - for instance in RAP and other systems, it's always PayPal. I have to find an alternative, though. Two days ago, PayPal limited my account for selling illegal stuff. Just like that, with out asking any questions. I had to remove Paypal-buttons from one of my sites, where I sell videoes about learning PHP, making homepages, and ebooks about sects/cults etc. And courses of hacking, or rather how NOT to get hacked! You can buy magazines about it in any kiosk here in France, and you can buy books about the same subject on Amazon, both .com and .fr. Nothing illegal about it. They have restored my account, but never answered my questions about this material not being illegal. Such things sucks! So I would like to use another service instead of PayPal, which is easy to use, can auto deliver electronic material and which is not too expensive.

      Hey guys,

I think this is the right time to ask this question. If you open an account with Alertpay,

can you receive paypal payments with it? Or assuming i have an account with Alertpay

and i need to make payment into someone's paypal account, is this possible at all?

Did i make myself clear at all?

      Thanks.

I use Alertpay and Paypal. Both of them allow for direct credit card payments. It's nice to have an alternative when Paypal freezes your account. You cannot use it to receive Paypal payments.

I had a PayPal account in good standing for a number of years until they pulled something completely stupid and really pi$$ed me off. So now I'm looking for alternates such as AlertPay also.....

Except for DLGuard (DLGuard - Download page protector, create expiring download links), that supports not only Paypal, but the following processors:

      AlertPay
      Paypal
      Clickbank
      2Checkout
      Authorize.Net
      WorldPay
      E-Bay
      E-Gold
      E-Bullion
      PayDotCom
      LinkPoint

      ...with more coming

It always pays to invest in a flexible download management system!

      cheers

thanks guys for the response, this is valuable information. From what I can see AlertPay certainly has a future. I remember when they first came out years ago, and I went out and bought AlertPaid.com, was going to some op with it. Anyways, ended up with my other 50+ domain names....

I have used safepay in the past, but they are not secure. You should consider pulling your money out if you have some in there. I have had a lot of dealings with them for years, and now I am not able to login and access my money.

As for AlertPay, personally I think they are good and have a great future. They cannot compete with PayPal but they certainly have a market.
