Hi guys , I want to share with you a few very good tips that I learnt and helped me a lot with Article Marketing. I know that many of you consider that Article Marketing is boring and useless...BUT...

I think everyone knows how much can Article Marketing help you if you are doing it correctly. You can drive a lot of traffic to your offers and so ...you can make good money.

Below you will read about things that all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site.

Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Mercedes ML, , how to make money online ...etc). It could be anything they want.

Keyword Density

Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to “feel” its presence. Articles should at least have 2 to 3 percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site.

Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as overeager. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

Linking Articles

And another important thing to remember: if you are going to submit articles to E-zines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON’T ever forget to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

Good Article Content

Like what is stated above, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out.

People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you. They will be able to trust you and your products.

So...these are important things in Article Marketing.I am sure that if you will respect these rules...you will make good money with Article Marketing.

All the best,
Stefan Ion

Hi Stefan, please excuse a dissenting voice after your helpful post, but the EZA guideline for keywords is a maximum keyword density of 2%.

If you even try to submit an article with keyword density over 2%, it's rejected automatically by the software with an error-message, before it can even get as far as editorial review. And there are reasons for that. I find that 2% maximum a very good guideline, myself - for my own sites, EZA and other article directories, too.

10% - 15% really would be quite unreadable, you know? You'd have the keyword in every sentence, just about, and two or three times in some of them.

Alexa beat me to it! Keyword density is certainly important (after all, without the right keyword density, how would spiders know what keywords you're targeting, and, thus, where to rank you?) However, a keyword density of 10-15% would be completely unreadable. In fact, a keyword density over 4 or 5% can look very unnatural to both readers and search engines.

In any kind of SEO writing - whether you're publishing articles or content to your own site - the goal is to make your keywords flow naturally throughout the content. The search engines freely admit that they prefer content that's written for readers first and search engines second.

I am with you here! I wrote that because in some SEO software's the right percentage is 10-15%. And ...yea I know that the post will look very spammy if you do this!

But for a blog post you would need a 3-5% for a good density and for a good rank.Again this depends if you want to build a "real" blog or a spammy blog.Because if you want to create a relation with your readers..yes...a 2% density is perfect!
