I recently bought a domain that values at a few hundred when I go and try to list it with bargain domains because of the fact the word plumbing is in the domain it indicates that there is a possible trademark issue regarding bing being in it and it can not be listed...oh boy did not know that microsoft had a trademark on bing in all forms so i guess we no longer can have plumbing in our buildings only plum??? lol any ideas gang?

    Hey,

Contact the place you are trying to list it on and see what they can do about it.

    PlumBING as a trademark infringement...

    WooHooHoo!!!

This overwhelming fear of the mighty Microsoft is beginning to go a little past absurd and quickly becoming intolerable.

Makes one wonder if the inventor of the Micro-scope considered suing when Microsoft came into being or for that matter, if the Plumbers Union filed because "Bing" is a part of "Plumbing".

If you get around the BING issue, you'll have to deal with the ING issue - also a trademark.

Okay, this is getting scary. Now, I can't look at a domain name without seeing the potential trademarks in the name. Ugh.

This is getting crazier day by day. So what happens to the Plumbing domains that were registered before bing came into existence?
