Placing a pixel in PayPal

I would like to setup an aff network for a software im going to be selling and I want to place a pixel in paypal.

I only see that you can place it in the thank you page but that is only for people using paypal login, when they pay with credit card there is no thank you page for paypal to place a pixel in.

How can i get this to work?

    Instead of doing that why not use an affiliate tracking script. Or use a download cart system which includes affliliate tracking.
    Scripts include: idevaffiliate, phpaffiliate
    Cart systems include: e-junkie, getdpd, paydotcom

      Paypal IPN uses a callback, this would be a script that can accept details and payment conformation from paypal. You can also use thank you pages as a page to return to from a payment and have your pixel there.

      However, like people have said there are scripts, services and plugins out there that do everything for you and most integrate with google analytics's

    yea the only thing is that the user needs to click the return to merchant button to go to the thank you page if they use cc, any other way of making sure that if they use a cc they will be redirected to thank you page?
