Unluck or bad self-improvement?

Hey guys,
I just wanted to share something you and then to ask a question.
I'm in IM around half a year now, I'm a pro programmer, web scripter and designer, so all what related with knowledge - i don't have any problems.
I'm a guy who had some money on the side and exited my daily job around 4 months ago for the IMarketing, I'm working around 16 hours a day - Buying new stuff, implementing all kinds of the stuff i learn etc...
I have around 13 domains and 7 hosting accounts and 5 of them up and running!
The problem is that I'm not making money
I'm implementing all kinds of stuff starting with SEO and ending with Own Products, Email Lists & Social Media.
I made 300$ for my personal product (a WSO, PHP Script i built for IMarketers) and around $50 with CPA offers.

Not a long time ago i bought a really good WSO product called CPABlaster, which is really great! (Didn't saw a product like this before)
The owners of the product is helping me as the can and giving me tips and suggestions all the day long however I'm really struggling to make money!
Even a noobs without any technical knowledge is making around $30 a day with this product and i make $2-$3 a day if i have a bit of luck.

As i sad earlier I'm a pro with all the "Websites Stuff", my main problem is TRAFFIC! it's now that i don't really know how and where to get it, it's just the fact the there is no traffic for me or something ;(

Anyway just wanted to ask you guys (and girls) if I'm not Positive enough, unlucky or that's just not my way of living (which is really unbelievable).
Also i would like to know if someone had the same problems like i do after 6 months of IM or it's just me?

Please leave your comments so ill get a bit of Motivation cause i have NO motivation at all at the moment.

Best Regards,
Rico S.

The problem is that you are not focusing. You are trying to do too many things at the same time. Pick one method - has anything made you even a dime? Go for that method and work it and ONLY it until you see steady income.

The other stuff will still be there to get back to later but you need to focus on mastering one thing before trying something else.

It's nothing to do with luck...lol. It's common to people just starting out to get excited and stick their fingers into too many pies. Now that you know it's not working that way, just decide which path to follow.

For some motivation....check out the Mind Warriors section of the forum. It's a great place to go if you're feeling "stuck".

    Good Luck.

      Hi FrozenGod,

      OK.

I'm a guy who had some money on the side
If all else fails, you could wait until the money has gone and you're desperate - desperation is a great motivator as a last resort, but it's much better to be able to 'manufacture' that desperation artificially, if you can. But that's a skill in itself. Look at it this way - homelessness and hunger put a totally different spin on your outlook/perspective.

I just went for a long walk without filling up beforehand with enough food and fluid - once I got to the halfway point, my thoughts were dominated by how much I was craving a nice cool glass of water and some fresh fruit. It taught me a few lessons and reminded me of how close we are to desperation on a daily basis. National petrol crisis = 60 million desperate people within days.

The problem is that I'm not making money
      my main problem is TRAFFIC!
You're clear on these two points.

it's now that i don't really know how and where to get it, it's just the fact the there is no traffic for me or something
Now you're getting lost in the fog of entitlement.

Also i would like to know if someone had the same problems like i do after 6 months of IM or it's just me?
I have somewhat related problems after well over six years. What you need is perseverance. Why are you taking this path in life? Is it -

      ~The Good Life~
      ?

It doesn't matter what skills, knowledge or experience you bring to the table. Only those willing to persevere through whatever hardships arrive will stay the course. The easiest way to develop perseverance is to understand exactly why you are here and are taking this path. What wrongs are you trying to right? If you can answer that, you'll probably find an element of passion. Within that passion you'll probably find the seeds of fierce perseverance.

      Hope this helps.

I agree with Tina above that it sounds like a lack of focus. It's perfectly normal at this stage of the game, and I have been there too. If you can combat it now you'll put yourself in a great position.

At least you know that you are making a couple of dollars a day so it does work. If you really focused on the exact steps that make you those couple of dollars a day (and ignored everything else), could you multiply it?

And lastly, don't worry at all that you're only making a few dollars after 6 months. It can take some people years - you're on the right track

Hi Rico - it is normal to see some ups and downs when you take the experimental approach to learning a new business & marketing method.

What I would recommend now is that you take a deep breath and put what you are doing on hold for a few days where you will focus on

      1. What market will you focus on and what urgent problem or desire you will focus on in that market - every great product, service or marketing campaign is focused on helping your market get a result they badly want to achieve
You must be crystal clear on what that desired result is and who wants to achieve it.

      2. What product (your own or affiliate, CPA offer, etc...) or service you will offer that helps your market achieve the desired result

      3. Organize ALL of your marketing (part of which is traffic generation) around targeting those who want to achieve that result.

It sounds like right now you are too scattered to market effectively. When you are more focused over who your customer is and exactly what it is that you are helping them to achieve, marketing becomes much more cost effective, simple and effective.

      Hope that helps,

      Jeff

    Rico,

I really want to to learn how you went from making so little from CPA marketing to where you are now. I've been struggling. Can you help me? I can't PM you yet as I don't have 50 posts.

    Thanks
