I have an email list of only 350. How would I go about monetizing it. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You could ask them what they would buy. Send out an email asking people what their biggest problems/hangups/confusion points/etc are (regarding your niche, of course), then look for common themes. Chances are you'll find plenty of people reporting the same issue(s).

Then you could either look for a quality affiliate product that meets this need, or create one yourself. Send it out to your list with a "You asked, I listened" kind of approach.

And if you get several different major themes in your replies, great! You can repeat the process for each.

    Good luck!

      Did you try it?
I think it may work, maybe I will try it on my own list as there are not too many products to promote to them.

Depends on the market and how you got them.

How did you get the list? They must have been interested in something you were offering, or they wouldn't have signed up. I would stick to whatever it was that got them to sign up. Was it a niche list ... like diets or health or snoring, etc. Then information and promotions in that niche would be targeted.

Don't just try to sell to your list. Provide them with good info as well.

I would treat them with good and quality info that they would love to receive. And update them on what you're doing if you're creating a new product. Then sell them. I wouldn't recommend adswap at this time. Most of them wouldn't respond if you do them even a couple of times.

And you can try implementing one of the IM products. If you make money with it, do a complete video income proof and share the benefits of using the product. If you recommend it this way, your subscribers would trust you and buy from you.

    That's what I would do.

I agree - grow your list to at least 500 members before selling

Provide plenty of free content - treat your members like gold... and they won't unsubscribe.

You have to keep posting them quality information and the odd sales message you will probably struggle to make enough to cover your time with only 350.

This means you have to grow the list just do what you did before rinse and repeat remember it take just as much effort to sent a message to 350 as it does to 3500 but with 3500 you make 10x more profit.

It's tempting to neglect a small list until it grow don't do this as they will forget all about you.

Thanks guys for your much appreciated comments. The list is from the IM field. I will continue to build and nurture the list and try to find a good guide on how to build and profit from your list. If anyone knows of a good guide that works well feel free to let me know. Thanks

You can do some ad swaps here in the WF to increase your list size

When I first got into IM I did not focus on my list at all and made no real effort to grow my list. I really regret that now and wish it had been more of a focus for me.

Aswaps are a good way to keep growing your list. I have contacted some warriors in the past and had some pretty good results doing swaps.
