Advice on building a sales funnel...

I've got some great PLR's and I'm about to start my marketing campaign. I would like some advice on how to funnel my traffic.

Should I take the articles and turn them into full blown videos with a direct link to the merchant page or just a short intro video with a link to my review site containing the complete articles with links to the merchant page?

Which would be best or...other ideas?

  • You should get them on a list first.

Then, provide exceptionally value and quality. Then you can offer services to help them later, that they'd like to buy.

As an option, depending on your content, you can offer a OTO, upsell, cross promotion, etc when they sign up.

That sounds like your first a/b test to me and I would probably run them concurrently. It's almost impossible to tell out the gate which method will work best. Take a look at what your competition is doing, I've never tried video straight to a merchant page, people may need a bit more text in the process although webinars are booming.

What kind of products are you marketing? Physical products? Ebooks? Other? I think that would make a difference. If you are marketing physical products as an amazon affiliate then I think getting them over to amazons page with the video would probably still work well. If it is an info product, they will probably need more pre-selling.

  • I agree. For information products you need to pre-sell to them and the best way to do that is to provide them with quality content. Once you they are convinced by your credibility, which is demonstrated by your quality content then they will "warm" to the idea of buying what you have to offer them.
