how much you spend per month for autoresponder?

some of you use aweber , get response, and so much more. How much you 'invest' for autoresponder?

more than $100? or lest than $50?

Because we know that aweber cost us per email list size.

Well I use aweber and it is $20 unless you have over 500 subscribers, but remember the rule of thumb is $1 per subscriber per month...

So if you have 500 subscribers or more you should be making $500 or more.

If you're spending $1 per subscriber per month - someone is ROYALLY screwing you :p

But ya, companies like getresponse (my favorite), aweber, and others should help you keep costs down while your lists are relatively small.

It really depends on your mailing needs/plans

Nobody is paying that, and nobody said that. The comment related to someone's average income expectation from their lists, not to their autoresponder expense!

I pay nothing with mailchimp. Its free for 1000 users and the first tier is only $15, aweber is $19 - do the math. Don't let the drones on here talk you into aweber . . .

      lol @ drones

he's right though - mailchimp is a good platform and becoming more popular. I used them 4-5 years ago when their interface was way behind getresponse's which is why I moved to GR.

I use Aweber - $19 per month + an extra $10 per month because of my list numbers - it's well worth it in my opinion.

I am paying around the 5,000 mark with aweber but I have a huge list and it is justified when I get the returns on that list. It's all about the circumstance. But each autoresponder is designed for a different circumstance and most people forget to understand this. And also the quote for $1 per subscriber is so wrong, How could you do PPC estimations what your customers are worth with only $1 Crazy!!!!. My subscribers are around the $25-$30 each mark

Look, this is how it works.

If you have a list with 500 subscribers, then you should be able to make $500 a month from that list even if it's a crap list.

That doesn't mean it's all you can make. It's a bare minimum. A better list will make you more, but no matter how bad your list is: if you are not making $1 per subscriber per month on the average, then you are totally screwing the pooch on selling to your list.

And yes, most established marketers are making a lot more than that from their lists. The real point here is that your autoresponder fees are basically SQUAT compared to what you lose by not having a list.

I guess they missed the part where I said the general rule of thumb is $1 per subscriber that you have on your list per month. And yes you can do way more than this, that number can even reach the hundreds, it all depends on the relationship you build with your list.

        thanks for the clarification btw

I'm paying $49 per month due to my list numbers in aweber. I think it is worth the price when you have this kind of list, especially you have a responsive one.

    Hope it helps...
