What do you think about backlinks from these kind of sites?

From pages that are not full of spam, ones that are of value to people not image websites, they may rank now, but they will dissapear when the websites are purged in the future.

I'm not going to say it's wrong to ask in here and I'm not going to say that the people answering are not trying to be helpful....but I'm going to tell you one of the biggest 'secrets' that most of us miss at some point along the way.

Speaking generally, when you ask people for an opinion, their answers are often swayed by their personal preferences and illogical emotions, especially when it comes down to what's perceived as 'right' or 'wrong' - I'm as guilty of this as anyone.

But the reason you are asking is probably purely in order to establish the facts so that you can apply your efforts as efficiently as possible. On that basis, as well as asking people in here, you also must -

...ask the SERPs (the search engine results pages).

Pick some of the comments on that site (ideally non-porn) and take the anchor text and plug it into Google and see if the sites they are backlinking to are ranking well.

Then examine the on-site SEO and the rest of the backlinks to those sites in order to get a clearer picture of the different types of backlinking they are using in order to avoid coming to false conclusions.

The SERPs don't lie when it comes to finding out what really works in terms of 'how to rank a website.'
