The cool thing is, later in the episode there is a huge marketing
lesson.

Barney goes to the top of the Empire State Building and starts
walking up to random women saying "he's not coming." The theory
being that many women are there to meet someone.

Of course he gets shot down a bunch of times, but he explains
that it is just a numbers game until you find one of these lonely
women. Classic, I will try to find it.
