Should I Flip My Site ?

I am planning to flip a new site of mine which after a little link building is now on the 1st page of google and dancing from 7th - 10th position.

The main keywords has 1600 broad and 590 exact global searches with estimated cpc of $1.17.

My doubts are,

How much should I charge for it? ( The site is not even a month old )

What should be the reserve price in Flippa ?

How to keep the Flippa thread alive ?

Would like to have your valuable opinions. Thanks in advance

First of all, you should know how much it can make via AdSense. After couple of months of testing, you can know how much it earns averagely, then 1 month * 10 and you will surely sell it on Flippa. Some people buy adsense sites for 1 month * 24 price.

I would also suggest this advice. Give your website some time to earn, and it will give you a basis of how much to sell it for. If you are posting on Flippa, you should post the starting bid at 8 times the monthly income of the website. Set the reserve price to 10-12 times the monthly income, and have a buy it now at 16-20 times the monthly income. Seems to work well for a lot of people, but be sure you can back up how much your site can make.

The site I just hosted two days ago and got indexed yesterday is on page 1 so what's the big deal about page 1?

Please work more on the site. Be patient with the site if you really want to make some money from flipping it.

That's all I can say for now.

Hmmm being on page one for the primary keyword is NOT a big deal... hmmm

I'd let the site develop more. Even though money upfront is nice, passive income can last long-term and can even grow the more you work on it. I had one site that did around $150 to $200 in passive income and I sold it about 2 years ago (needed income desperately at the time since I was in-between jobs). Honestly, I wish I would've never sold it. If I would've built on it over those last 2 years, who knows - I could've been sitting on a site that easily may have made $1,000+ of PASSIVE income monthly for very, very little work in the end.

If you start to see daily earnings, I would work on it more and just keep at it. Build that sucker up. Then, if you absolutely NEED to sell it, you'll get a boatload more cash than you would now.

You can flip a startup. As a buyer, I wouldn't even give it a second look ....or a first one for that matter. I don't care where it is in Google if it doesn't have traffic and revenue. You could get a lot more for it if you achieve that. Don't know how much you could get for it, but my guess is not very much and then deduct the $19 listing fee from that.
