What Internet Marketing Tools Could You Never Do Without?

38 replies
I'll start -

* Wordpress (sooo essential)

* Aweber (or other autoresponder)

* Cool timer (great for productivity)

* Dragon Naturally Speaking

* Jarte (fab free 'n' fast word processor)

* Paint.net

* Kompozer

* Cellphone

* Q10 text editor

There's probably a million things I'm forgetting.

And I'd absolutely love to hear what others suggest.

      Yep, pretty much essential.

    Absolutely, 1000% Wordpress and plugins. It's transformed my life from "I wish" to "I can". In fact, only last week I discovered a plugin that will enable me to finally build one particular website that I registered 4.5 years ago and always "wished it would ...." and now it can.

    Nothing else matters. You don't need anything else except Wordpress, time and an imagination.

      I knew I was missing something obvious. Thanks Janice!

      Although, Lastpass is better in some ways. If you lose your computer, everything gets deleted, or you're online away from home, you've still got your passwords

      You can use it on any system too.

      I would never have expected to see Dragon Naturally Speaking on this list
      Depends really. I mean, for those who do article marketing or other content producing, it's a massive help (when its in a good mood).

    I would never have expected to see Dragon Naturally Speaking on this list, but it certainly is an amazing productivity tool! I use it in my offline translation business and it hugely increases productivity for certain kinds of writing. Speech recognition has finally matured and is a tool well worth having in your arsenal, especially if you write a lot of content.

    Man all the greats have been listed but I'm still going to give my vote anyways :p

    The two I couldn't live without is Aweber and Wordpress.

    However, If made to choose, I'd take Aweber over WordPress

      Unless you download so many plug-ins that your Wordpress applications slow down and eventually grind to a halt. Then you're left with just time and imagination

      Just my thoughts,

      Jeff.

    Wordpress definitely
    MS Word couldn't do without
    Roboform - makes things so easy
    Adobe Photoshop
    Snapshot
    Camtasia

    And the most important thing - a bottomless cup of tea - I can't write a word without that!

    Noticed Dragon Speaking Naturally has come up a few times - if someone has got a minute can they PM me quick and let me know if it does help with writing - articles for example, or if it is quicker to keep typing - thanks

      Haven't got Jarte plus, but it does look good. Quite amazing that it's based on notepad. If you get WordWeb it also works with Jarte. You can press ctrl + T and up pops a thesaurus.
