Looking for real life help from fellow Warriors

Hey Warriors,

Here is the deal, I have been doing affiliate marketing for a little while now. I wanted to know if it is possible to scale up my income from $100 a week to $500 or $400 a week within 30 days and what is the best way (fastest way i can do it)?

My unemployment has run out and the clock is ticking. It is hard to find a job where i live.

I have over 200 articles on Ezine and other article directories.

I have over 50 blogs promoting different affiliate products.

I have 9 niche websites promoting ClickBank products.

I have 14 Amazon niche sites.

Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you.

Shannon

How much traffic/optins do you have coming to your sites daily?
How big are your mailing lists for each?
    and
Are they all completely different niches or related?

My traffic is under 50 a day to each site.

My mailing list is really low almost nonexistent. I do have optins on most of my sites.

My sites are all unrelated for the most part.

I know i need more traffic. So far this month i have 771 hops on ClickBank and made a total of $89.00 with 3 sales.

I'm not going to give you affiliate marketing advice, since I don't do much of it. But since your unemployment will soon run out, you may get in a bind for cash and it appears that you have plenty of skills that you can offer should that happen.

    You can build sites
    You can write
You can be a virtual assistant

These are just a few of the things that it seems like you can do judging from the OP, and they can generate some quick cash for you in a bind.

      Good advice above from Suzanne.

Shannon, if you have 50 blogs, nearly all with an opt-in, but your lists are almost non-existent, something is seriously wrong. (Why do you have such a large number of unrelated sites, and how are you promoting them?).

The one thing you shouldn't be doing is "more of the same", or trying to "scale up" whatever you're currently doing, because it isn't working. (Apologies for stating the obvious!). It may be that effectively scaling it down and focusing on one or two of your sites might be productive. Apologies for not being more helpful/constructive than this, but it's hard to know what to suggest without knowing more to start with.

Have you submitted your rss feeds to all the rss sites? I have a big list if you haven't.

If you've a blog, sign up to sites like SheToldMe and YouSayToo. "Scoop" your latest writing on SheToldMe and YouSayToo (once it has your feed) will automatically bring that through. Both are Adsense Revenue Shares sites too, potential for an extra few cents here and there.

I second what Suzanne has to say on that and don't forget you could also combine those skills for even better results - using writing and site-building to create blogs with original content to flip/sell for example.

I know money is tight but you could do a lot worse than invest in Suzanne's Flip Ace offer. There is some excellent advice in there.

    Good luck!

I would reevaluate the affiliate blogs using in-depth keyword research combined with conversion history. Test like crazy. You may want to test other site formats rather than time-consuming blogs. A blog's call to action can get buried very easily.

You may also consider local business consulting. Many businesses out there still have no idea how to setup an online presence. If you have the basic skills to help get them started and maintain it for them, you have a win-win situation.

I will echo some of the sentiments here.

You need to get some income in quickly. One of the best ways to do that would be to hire out your obvious skill-sets for dollars. I won't say too much more on this.

I think it is awesome that you have done so much (200 articles, 50 blogs, numerous sites and opt-in lists). A lot of people will do a lot less than you and give up.

Once you have some money coming in through freelancing or a job etc, then I would look at the affiliate marketing again in your spare time, and here is how I would approach it:

    - I would focus on working in 1 niche.
    - I would focus on 1 website/squeeze page.
    - I would focus on 1 traffic source.

I would focus all my time on this 1 project until I started getting good results. You might feel that with this method there is an opportunity-cost (i.e. you can't work on the many other profitable niches out there), but by focussing like this you will be improving your skills and subconsciously develop a system and a way of working that you can apply much quicker to other niches and projects in the future (only after you get this first project profitable).

I hope it works out and things go well for you. Congrats for getting so far already.

A lot of great advice. I will not echo them, but add my spin.

Make an "online portfolio" of the article work you've done with statistics, CTR, etc for the freelance sites you should consider joining. Show prospective employers you are effective.

Find your one or two best performing websites and work them like a mule. You need the biggest ROI, and you can only really invest time right now. Find any way, short of spamming and black hat, you can get extra traffic. You claim a recent .3% conversion (771 hops with 3 sales) if I do the math right. $500 a week = 17 sales/week = 5000 visits a week (ballpark).

"If you don't give up and you don't give in, you may just be OK." Trite, perhaps, but you need to keep your positive attitude!

    Best of luck!

This is some great advice you're getting. Could you sell some of your sites (assuming they are self hosted)? You could get some quick cash if they have some traffic, income and content and if you take Alexa's advice to scale down this would be a good way to capitalize on the work you've done to date (it's valuable) while helping you stay afloat a while.

    60 x $50-$100 (min) per site = $3000-$6000 quick cash
Leaves you 10 sites to target like a madman...?
