Aweber Spam checker, is 2.9 ok?

I have reduced some spammometer emails from 3.4 to 2.9 , after ages of editing. (I know aweber say below 5 is ok)

I cant get it down any more as the email needs the words included in.
(I have tried switching them words in certain cases)

Is 2.9 ok? or is there a risk of them emails getting in peoples junk folders?

    2.9 is fine.

Mine is 0.0. I use only text messages. No HTML.

I have had mail with a spam score of 0 end up in the junk folder.

I also don't have any emails with a spam score over 0.4, and I really do have to wonder whether emails scoring 2.9 should be sent at all.

SpamAssassin scores should be used as a guideline - while SA is certainly the most widely used open source content screener, all the major ISPs use their own proprietary systems. A score of 0 in SA in no way guarantees inbox delivery to any given ISP.

At the same time, there's little to no sense in spending too much time trying to get your score to 0. Don't so much as bat an eye at a spam score of 2.9.

If you prefer not to take my word for it, read the first tip that the makers of SpamAssassin say about avoiding false positives:
"Don't worry too much about specific rules within SpamAssassin. The rules catch spam. If your email isn't spam, you shouldn't be matching the rules. Even if you do hit an occasional rule, unless your email actually is spam, it shouldn't score high enough to be a problem."
