Converting Livescribe Pencasts In To Videos ?

How do you convert livescribe smartpen pencasts in to videos? If I am right, you need to create you pencast and record it using your screen recorder software while playing the pencast on your computer. Is that what everyone else do? Anybody having experience doing this, please reply...

    The Livescribe smartpen is not designed to create videos, but to record sound and link it to your notes. Perhaps adding a penlike camera will do the trick.

      Yes, from my research, the only way is to do a screen capture for your pencast then edit the screen capture which means you have to play it so your screen capture can record it.

    Recording the screen is the only way. If you don't want to sit there and baby sit, use this software:

    Record Screen Activity, Record Streaming Video, Record YouTube Video

    It has an "auto-stop" timer feature that's wonderful.
