Whats a decent number of unique visitors to strive for?

Not sure whats a good number of unique visitors but even without a site up and no promotion at all, I have been getting about 20 unique visitors a day on most of my sites. whats a good number for unique visitors? All of my domains are keyword specific and have a minimum SEOT of 100 according to Market Samurai. But I would hope to get this much higher. I actually did post an ad on one of the sites with the default wordpress installation and I actually got 7 clicks and 2 conversions. Made a cool $4 ! The only cheez I have made this far.lol

Ultimately, it will depend on what kind of money you are striving for, what niche you are in and what type of products you are promoting.

Making something is the first step. If you can make some repeated sales, even if they take a while to get, then you should be able to look at your overall stats to figure out an overall conversion rate. If it seems to be worth the effort, just expand your efforts to bring in more traffic and the sales will come in more frequently.

My website was completely different than what most people here do, so it won't be the same for you (I won't get into specifics because this site doesn't exist anymore). From about 15 years ago until about 10 years ago, I had a site where I received 28 million monthly page views and I made about $15,000 each month.

Wow, that's great. If you are able to getting about 20 unique visitors without any SEO or promotion, then I think the sites have great potential to grow. You must grow them up carefully.

Number of unique visitor depends on the type of website you are making and for what purpose you are making. If you aim to get paid then the optimization must be done very high and you must get visitors in hundreds.

I initially wanted an autoblog, but if selling an Ebook or whatever is the best route then thats the route I will take. I am still confused about which monetization method to apply.

It's best to frame this question within some context. If I were running a website that marketed itself to local dentists in the area, and I was selling leads to them. You bet those 20-30 uniques per day would mean $500-$1k a month depending on which marketing package I put together
