Need Help With Embed Code Please

Hello everyone
I'm trying something totally new here and I have a question. I am trying to post a full banner embed code to a site called shorttask.com that will allow me to post this as a job request to have people put this banner ad on their site for a fee. Now what I want to figure out is this, how do I post the embed code in a format that it retains its raw state when the people viewing the job task see it? so that they could copy and paste the code to their site. I've just entered the code thus far and when I do that the entire banner itself shows up.
Forgive me if this seems like a stupid question but I've not had experience with this sort of thing just yet.

    You need to enter your banner code inside some textarea tags like so....

    <textarea>your banner code</textarea>

    Hi Angela, I'm not familiar with the site you speak of although you might try putting the code between BBC tags such as this [ code ] YOUR BANNER CODE HERE [ /code ] Remove the spaces in the brackets for it to look like this,
    Code:
     YOUR BANNER CODE HERE
    Just a quick thought.
