Usually you'd go to Youtube, click on the embed link, copy the code and paste it onto your site. Maybe someone else can provide a better step by step guide.

Hi.. Upload your video to youtube. Then click on it to play. While it plays you can see a button called "Embed". Click on it a code will be generated. Copy that and paste it on your site wherever you want the video to be placed.

People are answering this "guy" because this is a forum, and luckily it is the type of forum where experienced professionals are willing to help the inexperienced ones. The giving spirit is what sets this forum apart from all the rest.

I could learn to drive a race car by trial and error, but if I could get driving tips from a pro, I would save myself a lot of headaches, perhaps even a serious accident.

Sometimes a novice is confused by a lot of contradictory, sometime erroneous information. This forum is (or should be) a place where the new guy can get solid information and help.

Many questions asked on this forum can be answered by Google. It is your choice whether to answer it or not. Why moan about a certain question? Just answer it or ignore it - it's as simple as that!

Thank you, Dave. And may I point that sometimes a Google search digs up information that is total garbage. It is a mistake to assume that if the information is retrieved by a Google search, the information is solid. But then, some people think that Wikipedia is infallible.

They already noted the steps above. But just to add up, you may want to customize your video first before embed it on your site. Once you clicked on the embed option, choose the color scheme you want and embed size. This will help you a lot of you want to “brand” your video.
