Questions about using scraping software?

I wanted to see what kind of results people have gotten using software that can scrape a page and gather information including email and phone numbers. I came across this system and considering using it but want to make sure its ethical.

What are your experiences using something like this and can it be successful?

    Ethics is a personal matter of right or wrong. You will get mixed opinions on that subject. The question is, are YOU ok with it? How would you feel if someone did this to your email or phone number and then contacted you?

    Depends on source you're scraping; Can be good in right scenario I suppose. Blatantly against anti-spam laws (if you USE that list) but your question tells me 1) you don't care or 2) You didn't know.
    Use that list and expect your email marketing account and/or addresses to get suspended, and an uncomfortable phone call explaining it to the provider that has to handle the 85% spam complaint rate but good luck!! (and don't do it)

    Edit: I wanted to add, I use scrape software for analysis/competitive backlinks review. Easy to find blogs that competitors have used, sort by PR and yes, comment when relevant. I don't go full auto on comments b/c the higher ranked one's reject the garbage anyway, but are keen to approve relevant comments. Spam-no, research/analysis, yes

    Thanks guys, I don't like unsolicited e-mails and even hate the Robo-Phone calls. What this system claims to do is collect from keywords and Craigslist and Backpage.
    Here is a short video clip, I am NOT an affiliate (yet) just looking for some advice on other people who have used this type of technology.
