Need some ping.fm help

I haven't used my ping.fm account for about half a year. Back then it still worked with twitterfeed. So I tried to find another way to automatically feed all my blogposts to ping.fm.

Rss feed: add an rss feed and all your posts will be automatically send to all your social accounts. Sounds easy, but for some reason my posts never get there. They also don't show up under 'recent posts' in my ping.fm dashboard. I used the wordpress feed url and the feedburner url. No result.

Google reader: I tried updating through google reader, but I get the error message saying i entered the wrong username (which is my own name, so i'm pretty sure I spelled it right), so I didn't get that to work either.

UPDATE: ok, I just tried typing something in the messagebox in my dashboard and even that message didn't show up in my 'recent posts' list :-(

wordpress plugins: I installed 5 or 6, none of them pushed my posts through to ping.fm

This is getting pretty frustrating. Is ping having some kind of issues or am I missing something? Anybody else having ping.fm troubles?

I was having the same problem with shorten2ping Wordpress plugin, but I then added a Feedburner feed in. I posted to my blog, and nothing happened. Was getting really frustrated, but now I've posted to the blog again, it's distributed my content throughout all the networks. Brilliant!

Maybe you just need to be more patient with it.

If you're using wordpress there is a ping.fm plugin that will ping directly to ping.fm. If you are not, use hootsuite to accomplish the same task. Just upload your rss feed, they only allow 2 rss feeds.

    Hope this helped.
