Free Tip of the Day for Newbie Bloggers

Since someone did a very good deed for me today, I'm "paying it forward" and posting a great tip for newbie bloggers. At pingler.com, you can "ping" your blog with all of these different aggregators manually by entering your URL into their field

OR....

You can have all of these aggregators pinged every time you make a blog post (in wordpress only, I don't know how to do this in blogger)

1. Login.
2. Go to "settings"
3. Click on "writing"
4. Then where it says "update services" you copy and paste all of the aggregators from the pingler.com box. They're calling them "ping services" but the technical name for them is aggregators. So basically in your update services box you'll have this:

api.my.yahoo.co.jp/RPC2
audiorpc.weblogs.com/RPC2
blog.goo.ne.jp/XMLRPC
blogpeople.net/ping

etc....

Copy and paste the whole list and put them in that box. But don't get rid of the pingomatic first url in there, you want them pinged too.

    Nice tip Jennifer, I have been using pingler for some time now and it is so eary and effective.

      Yeah but with this method, you don't even have to go to pingler.com ever again. You just enter their aggregators right into your wordpress software.
