BeachBody.com to do $400 Million in Revenue This Year.

Selling my products on Clickbank is great and all but I would love to create a company like (BeachBody.com) this as would a lot of other people. Plus they're a big name and Google isn't going to slap them off of Adwords.

We all know how much we make off of our information products. Even with the extra employees, camera crews, fitness models, etc I can imagine the owner is bringing home 10s of millions of dollars each year.

Shows to go what you can do with a great product that gets results and great marketing.

Those that don't know, BeachBody.com is home to

RevAbs
P90X
Hip Hop Abs

and a slew of other fitness programs.

I think this goes to show what can really be done with information marketing albeit on a larger scale. Not everyone would want to be involved in a company like this because you'd probably have to be at the office all day. But I don't care about working at home or not, I would love to have a trusted name in information products and hopefully one day I can hit it.

Tony Horton is kind of a hero of mine, actually. I own P90X, and let me tell you...his passion for fitness is palpable through the television screen!

There are a LOT of lessons that can be learned from looking of BeachBody.com, but I think the most important one is to genuinely believe in what you're doing, and genuinely care about your customers!

There's a reason why - The P90X program, for example, is cutting edge. I actually started it this week (and I'm beat to a pulp, to say the least), but it's easy to see that people who stick to a diet plan AND do the workouts as they should WILL get results. So, there's no wonder why the company is raking in tons of cash. The stuff they put out is high quality. Quality always wins in my book.

Sticking to a great diet and workout plan is a solid way to go from fat to fit... The same is true in business - stick to a great product with solid marketing and you can't lose.

Trouble is too many people give up way to early, create the wrong kinds of products or think they cannot even create a product on their own.

If you currently have a ClickBank product then you are half way there... Just work on the marketing, test your sales process and scale it after that.

Find something that works and keep doing that while finding other ways to get your marketing message in front of the crowd.

    It really is that simple...

Which is great for me to hear because according to my book all there is to advertise with is adwords, article marketing, and seo.

If you're using clickbank, make sure you're taking steps to protect your product(s)!

...and, sure, everybody wants to find that one need and fill it for the mass population or specific genre. The "pet rock" of the digital age would sure be nice...and I wish you all the best in your pursuit.

BeachBody has done a great job. Their products are truly well done from Slimin6 to Power90. Boy they are tough if done right. Even though they try to start you slow and work you up to it, for many they are just to much.

Anyway they have some very active forums with devoted users. Good chance to see what the customer base is thinking of.

Just wanted to add, they are spending millions on advertising.

Nearly every show on ESPN and Fox Sports radio are promoting P90X and/or 5 Hour Energy.

Create a product that isn't crap, spend a few million in advertising to reach your target audience and you'll do OK until the next big thing comes along.

Yeah, they have a web site but they aren't "internet marketers". They aren't making 400 million a year off a website alone.

I really do admire their marketing. I love what they do plus I love Insanity and P90X!! I hate working out but when I am done after I have taking a shower and get to relax a bit I feel so good. I just love the feeling I get after working out.

A ton of guys on ESPN are doing this. Colin Cowherd, Doug Gottlieb, Scott Van Pelt, Ryen Russillo and tons more. They keep on plugging it in on their radio and tv shows. its crazy how much press P90X is getting.

FYI. They had a 7-8 upsell funnel in place about 3 years ago. Not sure about now.

They offered me everything from exercise bands to memberships to forums to vitamins and other stuff I can't remember.

If you want to see a real upsell process, buy something from then online.

Do you think that customers have a general upper limit for upselling? I know that I've clicked off some sites out of frustration if it's excessive.

    px90 isn't cutting edge.

the methodology of training has been around for a LOONG time.

They were smart and packaged it up well and created a killer offer and pitch that worked.

Awesome of them. something to study.

      Yes, interesting to note.

Note, they did it in a quality way, however.

And instead of being some silly gimmick, it's just about working hard to get the body you want, and a their motivation can help you stay the course.

Nothing wrong with taking time honored methods and repackaging them and selling them.

It's all in the selling and in the quality of the product they're selling. Some people just need a hand to hold when they want to get something done and that's exactly what P90X does.

      Indeed, they were smart.

I would love to have a company to where I could spend millions in TV advertising. While there is a good amount of people online that want to sit in their underwear making money from home, most just want to make a lot of money no matter how they do it.

The reason I came online way back when was that I could start an info business for cheap and have a 95% profit margin. However, if I had to have an office to go to every day with 100s of employees with a $400 million per year company I'd do it in a second.

I think that is the dream. Most just want a successful business that will bring in the cash. The best way to do that is to start online in my opinion and build and save from there.

      Dave,

      Not me.

I'd rather have freedom of schedule, freedom of location, freedom from employee headaches.

I don't need a $400 million per year company to be happy.

P09X is an awesome work out program and has put me in the best shape of my life. What most people don't now is there is actually a business opportunity that goes along with it. I blogged about doing P90X and then blogged about different aspects and questions on P90X and before you know it I was and continue to make sales. Forget linking to Amazon here. I make $30 bucks a sale. P90X gets over 4 million searches a months in Google alone and I get to take advantage of all the infomercial advertising they do as well. The way I see it is it is MLM and affiliate marketing combined to bring the best of both worlds.

Funny to find this thread here on the Warrior Forum as I was just talking about P90X earlier tonight. Several friends of mine have gone through it or have recently started the program, I am about to take the plunge and get started here soon.

I have heard about the affiliate program, but haven't checked into it yet. If I go through the system and it works(which it should) I may have to check into the affiliate/reseller system they have. It's always easier to sell something that you believe in and works, it just comes across to others and makes you a believable salesman.

You are absolutely right. It is so much easier to suggest something that you have had success with. That was the case for me and even off line things have been going well. Good luck with your 90 days.

I believe I have a pretty much perfect body already, but that P90X program has me intrigued. I read that it is very hard and intense and not everyone makes it. The program itself is revolutionary, so there is your answer - create something revolutionary. It is not likely that you will earn $400 millions by promoting yeast cream products on CB as an affiliate. You need to create something yourself, something unique and BIG!
