Not sure if this has been discussed before, or if it is widely known about, but British and perhaps European bloggers should maybe give this a quick read:

    Interesting article. I can see why big businesses would want to try that but it
    is awfully sneaky.

    How would you know if a comment on your blog was from something like that
    rather than from a real person?

      Heres the thing though. If you setup a company or business (ltd or otherwise) and you sell products, there are American gurus who have suggested similar techniques that are being discussed in the article. It could be a very easy thing to do, and a trap that one could easily fall into (legally).

      And when I talk about gurus talking about this technique, I am thinking of some big ones. Now I am not sure what the law is in the US, but it is something for us on the other side of the pond to think about. So I thought I'd throw it out there for some people. My aim wasn't really to reach the affiliate marketers out there, but people who might be employing this technique.
