If you want personal one-on-one coaching, it is pretty expensive for a good trainer...however you can probably pay someone with limited experience to show you the basics...you don't need to go to someone with a set coaching program.

I would be a little more specific in what you want coaching on as well...basic set up, lead gen, etc..

Another good way is to join someone's affiliate program that you want to be coached by, generate some sales and contact them for additional help. Usually when you make money for people, they will be willing to help you at little or no cost.

I have done this and it will not work.

Your product creation should be the LAST step in a months long process. Learn from someone else's mistake.

You can learn to create and sell a product, indeed, but you're putting the cart before the horse.

OP, you have to be specific in what area of business you want coaching so that folks here can give you a precise answer.

Why should you be specific?

A carpenter can only coach you on carpentry work.

Why would you want to make your own products before you know how to sell?

In my opinion, too many people online are spending time building sites and developing products and not learning how to promote and sell.

So by the time you get your product to the marketplace, you're so exhausting from creating it and you can't figure out why people don't just buy it...that it frustrates you into quitting.

Learn how to drive traffic, build a list and sell someone else's stuff.

If you can make money doing that...add your own product to increase your sales and increase your profit margins.

I'm doing a coaching session of 6 hours and at no point have we covered developing the product what we are concentrating on is in bulding my list and which IM strategy I can be consistent with and follow. Like the commentators said above after you create the product then what? I would do as they say and maybe you can develop a product on how you learned the build your list. if i'm not mistaken your product should be based on experience and of what you know.

It really depends on the subject of interest. I offer one to one coaching via email and googlechat on most internet marketing subjects for $30 a month - with no minimum duration. I never take on more than 5 students at a time so I can provide quality advie and guidance.

No it would have to be free and then when I make a profit, you make a profit because I'm tired of paying out money and not seeing a return. It isn't that I don't work hard because I do but there must be someone in this world that is willing to coach.

I'm currently on food stamps and I bought Market Samurai. I had to rob Peter to pay Paul, but that software is worth it. You should find a way to buy it, ESPECIALLY as a newbie.

Wow, good for you seriously. I personally found it very hard to understand when it was free :-) I'm sure you'll be fine considering you get it. I'm sure 2011 is going to be a breaking year for you. I truly am thankful for the suggestion though.

Get your income going here, then branch out and work toward reducing your dependence on the buyers coming from here. I respectfully disagree.

Any keyword research you need to do you can easily do with free tools. That's just my opinion. But, as a newbie, you do not necessarily need to be spending money on Market Samurai. In fact, I know SEO experts who simply use Google adwords keyword tool and free search functions with Google for their research. You really don't need anything more if you know how to use them correctly.

You're connecting and that's a great start. Some of the free online coaching by well established marketers has helped me a lot and still does. After I've made money with free traiing I'm usually willing to turn that money around and buy from the marketer who helped me... after all, that's what they were hoping for when they tossed out the freebie. The good thing is a lot of what's available works.. not all of it, but a lot. Good luck.

Several newbies in the forum here are offering coaching and when I go back to have a look at their previous posts they are saying things like

"What is the best way to get traffic"

or "should I build a list"

HA HA HA. Oh dear this is quite alarming, yet funny at the same time!!! No sure if that qualifies as being a good coach, but what do I know right?

Just remember that when you do find a coach, you still have to do the work. Yes, a good coach will show your the key steps of whatever you're trying to learn and hold you accountable, but ultimately it's up to you to get in the trenches and do it - There are no shortucts!

You have to ask yourself, "Are you willing to truly stay the course and finish what you start?"

Don and Jeremy run a coaching program but it is usually full. I cannot remember their exact pricing but I believe it is in the $500-600 range. I will tell you (as will many other warriors), that those two guys are the real deal. I have not gone through their coaching, but I have purchased many of their products, and I am a member of their forum and list.

I would suggest opting in to their list at Don and Jeremy - Internet Marketing Blog . Then the next time they have an opening (if you are interested) you can get in on it.

Also, Brian Zimmerman and Eric Louviere recently collaborated and re-launched a membership/training site called The Newbie University. This is not one-on-one coaching, but appears to be damn close it (private forum). I have not signed up for this either, so I cannot give a personal recommendation on the training. However, I can tell you these two guys are also very legit.

I have found the best way to learn is by watching recorded webinars. Then having a coach or mentor that can assist you when you get stuck and help you get in the right mindset to become a full time Internet Marketer.

A lot of times, I have found that people looking for a "coach" or a "coaching program", are really looking for a magic bullet or some kind of magic place to post an affiliate link and make sales.

That's not going to happen.

You have to learn the skills that are required (ftp, html, etc), and then learn how to find markets, and then learn to develop products for those markets, and then learn to drive traffic to your pages.

There's not just "one thing".
