Do multiple Linkwheels for a single money site work?

There are several providers selling Web 2.0 link wheels/networks in various permutations and patterns. Is it a good idea to order several of these for my money site? Or should I just do one as the links from all these linkwheels/networks are coming from basically the same Web 2.0 properties?

The reason I ask is because even after I do the linkwheel/network I don't get the rank I want. So how do I continue to rise in the SERPs? Is it just through straight profile backlinks at that point? Or can I just keep order different linkwheels/patterns?

Thanks,

The general rule of thumb is that the more links you have pointing to your site, the better chance you have of getting your website ranked on the first page of Google.

Building multiple link wheels to your site should work for you. Keep in mind that the competition level of your targeted keyword makes a big difference in how long it will take to get your site ranked. How competitive is this keyword?

The content on your site makes a big difference too. Lastly, the age of your domain makes a difference too. With some domains, you may need to wait several months to rank high in the search engines.

If this was my site, I would just continue to build more and more backlinks to my site until I am sitting on page one of Google. Once I got on page one, I would try to rank my site in the top three spots on the page.

      Hope this helps!

    Thanks,
SirLucius, you are asking a straightforward question without providing ALL of the variables necessary to provide you with an intelligent answer.

In order to properly answer that question one is presupposing that you have chosen the proper keywords. After performing keyword research do you know how long it is going to take you to grab the top spot in the SERPs? Four weeks to six weeks? Two months or more? Proper Keyword Research will tell you that.

As far as buying link wheel services, one is also presupposing that you are using vendors who are actually building networks and not ripping you off. There are a lot of people selling such services that know the average person does not know how to confirm if they are performing the work or not.

One is also presupposing that you are doing your backend work with tools like BIE, BLB, and/or RSS Feeds to insure that all of your BLs are indexed.

But MOST importantly what is your strategy?

Have you reversed engineered your top competitors to find out the type and number of backlinks they have?

Have you mimicked their backlinks already and then added additional BLs to put you over the top?

If you are going to TAKE the top spot in the SERPs you are going to need to be on your, "A game!"
