Now I Have Clickbank Paranoia...

After reading all of the threads recently on Clickbank possibly stiffing affiliates, I seem to have the opposite problem the last couple days.

I'm the publisher of a Clickbank product, and I've been a little lax promoting to my list lately. So the last couple days I sent a broadcast to my list and even wrote a 16 page free report to get people interested.

I noticed the sales roll in over the last couple days as the emails went out. But to my surprise just now, they were all affiliate sales! And I almost never get affiliate sales.

What are the chances of that happening - a spike in sales after I've been suffering like everyone else the last couple months, and they are all affiliate sales when I only get 3-4% of my sales from affiliates.

The only thing I can conceive of, is that these people were people who had been on my list a while and hadn't ordered, and had visited an afilliate link and not ordered. Then had an affiliate cookie in their system when my emails got them to order?

I don't know if that scenario is likely. Any other thoughts?

Is the product internet marketing related? Maybe they used their own affiliate links to get a discount?
