Ok to Post Niche Blog on Flippa?

Admins or experienced Warriors:
I have a niche blog for sale at Flippa, and it's in the last 4 hours of the auction.

I think it would be a great match for a lot of warriors looking for something that is already established and set up, and making money.

However, I know there are rules/fees for posting sites for sale at WF - But since I already paid the Flippa fee I prefer not to re-post the site for sale at WF right now (and pay another $20 fee.)

Can I just link to it in a thread in case anyone is interested? If it doesn't sell, I would likely list here instead of relisting at Flippa, but for now was just hoping to get some more eyeballs on it in hopes of selling it today before the auction ends.

Thanks for any help with this.

-Doug

Did you pay the extra $ for the featured listing?

Nope, just the standard listing fee.

No ... you can't. I have put my Flippa listing link in my signature, but that only works if you have more than a couple of hours left on an auction.

I thought about putting it in the sig, but I didn't think of it until this morning....Actually, I have a bid and 5 watchers as is and I didn't think I would need to worry about it.

Oh well, there's always next time...

The featured listing thing is a good idea. I've done it too, usually the day before the auction ends and it gets a lot more views and bids than when I don't.

Just as an FYI, you should pay the extra money for the featured listing on the last day so you get the maximum amount of eyeballs on your offer. I did this. I listed my site for 10 days and, after getting no action and only a few views, I read the advice of others about the featured listing. So, following that advice, I shortened my auction to 3 days and on the last day I paid for the featured listing. Within two hours I had 4 bids and then someone offered the BIN price.

The difference between being stuck deep in the listings and on the front page was amazing.

Thank you - I wish I knew that yesterday so I could have bought the upgrade earlier in the day! Now I have less than 2 hours I think. But it will help next time around.

I sold one site previously, without buying a featured listing. But in that case, my auction closed with no bids, then the it sat for 30 days in a "private auction" before I finally got an interested buyer.

What you are suggesting makes total sense, since the "featured listing" is on the front page for a limited time - should be done on the last day of the auction to create urgency and prevent it from languishing as you say deep in the listings.
