Youtube videos on someone else's site.

I have some Youtube videos I've had online for awhile now and really haven't paid any attention to.
Last night I decided to change the title, tags and enhance the descriptions.
Well this morning, while doing a google search, I see that a blog has 2 of my videos on their blog. All of my description and links are in tact.

How is it possible that another blog picked up 2 of my videos that quickly?
I didnt even know you can use someone else's video on your blog...

I guessing this is a good thing right?

If you don't want anyone else to use the video, you need to disable the
embed option. You can do that by "editing" the video in your account.

Also - there is software that will grab videos from any Internet site and
download them to your computer. Once you have the video, you can do
    whatever you want with it!!

That's why you need to brand your video by putting your link or business
name on each page of the video.

Anything is possible on the 'net and anyone will do it!!

Yes, if you'd hosted the video some place where you had
to pay, there are even people bold enough to use your
video (perhaps in a frame) and make you pay for the bandwidth
      while THEY benefit

    Is that a bad thing?

I have a video I created in a relationship niche which was picked up by a bunch of blogs because the story is good, and has a catchy headline. Since it still includes my URL in the video I have been getting a highly increased number of "typed in URL" visitors to my blog. I need to get busy and produce some more videos which are "snatched" by those evil bloggers.

Think of it in the same terms as submitting an article to EzineArticles. If it gets syndicated you get more bang for the bits.

So as long as it has my link in it....then it's ok. I will edit it and make sure my URL runs across it while watching.

I would send a cyberhug to someone who wanted to embed my videos on their site and drive more traffic to my content. So yes, that's a good thing.

I agree with the solutions offered here. You may not want to put the video in private especially if you want to promote your company or business through them. You can just adjust your embed permission. Even if they have the embed code, they will not totally embed the video on their site. It will just show a link that will redirect viewers on your channel.
