So... does anyone actually bank on this stuff?

Well, I figured I'd start my very first post on this hopefully haven of a forum with a simple question: Is anyone actually making enough profit to live pretty comfortably? (U.S. price: around 80K+)

My 17-year old head finds it hard to grasp that this stuff is as easy as the people love to say in their testimonials, conveniently getting me to spend ~$100.

  • Trust me , it is NOT as easy as everyone says! YOU must put in the time and be determined! To make that kind of money, you will go thru a few bad choices in your IM venture. But, if your consistant and keep trying, you will become successful. It will take some time though, if it were that easy, there wouldnt be a 97% fail rate.

Funny you mentioned that. I actually saw that article a lil' ways away from this post, and I saw the 3 things what caused most people to fail:

      1) "Most Internet marketers do not pay for their advertising. This is a big mistake because they think free advertising will get enough visitors to their websites."

Well, that obviously won't be a problem; I know not to do that now, thanks to this article.

      2) "Most Internet marketers are not business people to start with. This means that they are really not entrepreneurial by nature. A true entrepreneur understands there will be many bumps along the roads to success."

This is true for virtually everything in life; work hard or give up.

      3) "Most Internet marketers start out on a part-time basis."

Lulz. High school student, who has nothing to do except for mindless homework. Time won't be a problem for me at all.

I can only speak for myself, and I won't get into a specific number, but yes, I surpass $80k by a significant margin, I make six figures annually.

Yep... have to become obsessed before you make any money. Better to not read the forums either, just do your own thing until you're making some cash then come back.
