All the ones that aren't really worth submitting to.

Maybe fast submission has more value, these days, than submitting to an article directory that will get you quality backlinks and traffic.

I-want-it-quick syndrome never gets anybody anywhere.

Hi, this have been really puzzling me lately, it seems completely random if the article gets published or not. Can someone enlighten me what are they main guidelines of Articlesbase rejecting an article as an advertisement.

Right now I'm trying to publish an article about one upcoming sports event, and it gets rejected every time as an advertisement.(I've been changing the title etc, to get it live)

The article has only two links to my site (main page) and has zero direct/redirect affiliate links in a body or resource box.

I just don't get why it's an advertisement. There's even very similar articles about same events, with direct affiliate links in body of the article.

How to get them better mood, I want them to have fun so they will publish. How to do it, to get it, done?

Best regards and hyper day to everyone!

For instant submit use GoArticle or Articoolz.
I found GoArticle more good, but it's your choice.

You can't use a webmail address (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) for Goarticles. I found that out yesterday. (It was cool though, I've been looking for an excuse to set up an email address that was tony@xxxxxxx.xxx) That's how much of a noob I am.

Try using gmx.com - almost all sites that ban Yahoo and Gmail would take gmx as it's still not in their filters. Not sure if it'll work with Goarticles, but it doesn't hurt to try

I am bit sceptical about the quality of instant approval article directories. As we run small niche article directory I now how long it takes to go trough all the submission and make sure that only quality articles will get approved. It would make life lot easier to set it to auto approval but it would be like running a forum without any moderation. Currently form all the articles we get only 5 -10 % gets approved and published rest of them are irrelevant, really bad or advertisement.

So if article directory pretty much instantly publishes your article then they are either really good with big team of moderators or they are just automated and there is no control what gets published whatsoever.

Not all - too sweeping a statement if you haven't tried them all. I've been getting some good results from some of them.

Because of the huge amount of wasted hours checking articles every day I started afresh with a Wordpress instant approval article directory, but I vet new authors work and websites before I let them submit and make it clear that I keep an eye on things. If they don't comply with my guidelines their articles go to pending approval and if they continue to ignore the guidelines their accounts are closed.

Only a tiny percentage of those who sign up go on to send their first article for me to vet and those are usually good writers. The majority play ball so it's rare that anything gets through that I wouldn't want on the site. This format suits me and now that I'm not bogged down with so many articles to check I can spend more time on promoting the directory and running the rest of my business, much better.

I am trying to work out how many ezines I should submit to each time I have an article. I also want to know which of the ezines are a waste of time as I know some of them won't approve your articles because they are inactive (aargh). It is a disappointment when I spend that time manually submitting my articles. Does anyone know a cheap article submission service (no not dubious software such as Miracle Traffic Bot as it is crap) that you can rely on to successfully submit your articles to worthwhile ezines and get you the backlinks that you write the articles for in the first place?

Dayanthan, I think you may be confused between an "ezine" and an "article directory"?

      They're two totally different things.

This post will perhaps clarify it for you, I think (and the whole of that little thread's quite a good read!).

My experiece tells me that you should go with only 2 article directories when it comes to targeted visitors and web traffic and those are:

    1) Ezinearticles.com

    2) Articlebase.com

If you are Platinum Level Author at Ezinearticles.com then your articles can go live in 24-30 hours. And Articlebase.com also approve articles in 24 hours.

Other article directories are really not worth our time if you really want to focus on getting real targeted visitors to your website. Go for other directories only for getting extra DoFollow backlinks for SEO purpose.

      @ im2010:

Do you have a good list of dofollo article directories as at this stage I am trying to gain backlinks for SEO purposes. I don't care too much for traffic at this stage. But I agree with what you said re those 2 ezines for traffic.

Is there a difference among the top article directories in terms of which ones provide a good place to be found by publishers in my niche, as opposed to getting backlinks?

Of course, I want the backlinks too, however, I am more interested in submitting my articles to article directories where there is a higher chance of relevant niche publishers finding my articles and publishing them to their subscribers.

When I've checked I've found that in general my articles get republished the most after being submitted to articlesbase.com (but the content gets scraped and often links left out), articledashboard.com and up until a few months ago isnare.com

Niche article directories aren't bad, but you could also become a guest blogger. Try blogsynergy there may be some decent blogs in your niche.

I have been using Article Marketing Robot for several months and it's doing great for me. The top directories are on the submission list besides a growing amount of directories. I put articles on my sites first, then after a few days EZA, articlesbase and article dashboard. Once they have been accepted at those I blast them out with the robot backlinking a previous article in that niche on one of my sites.

I know that there are those that say you should only submit to one or two directories and backlink them but I want the links to my sites not somebody elses and the system that I'm using now is working far better than other ways that I've tried. I've also found that my sites are getting clickthroughs from some of the directories that I wouldn't have tried if it hadn't been for the robot

              Thank you, Patricia.

I haven't thought about the content being scraped. Good point. I imagine there is not much we can do about it. Or is there?

Content being scraped isn't a problem as long as the links are left in. Some of the softwares that scrape content have the option of stripping the links and not everybody is ethical enough to leave the links in

As Gian Sim says the article marketing robot is effective in submitting articles to hundreds of sites, it also has an inbuilt spinner, but you don't need to spin your articles. I'm getting great results and have never spun one.

Articlebase is fairly good at approving articles quickly. I think you need to have already submitted over 15 articles before you can get your articles approved quickly. Article base brings in good traffic to I find it better than a lot of the other article directories.
