How do I monetize my site, over 5k plus visitors a month.
Hey Gang,
I have a website i built as an experiment last year, it is focused on a sexy female character from a TV series, using the characters name as the domain name. Thus its ranked at pos 2 in Google, just behind Wikipedia.
The website simply has some basic information about the actress and some pictures of her and the character.
The site started off with a modest number of visitors, and has steadily grown month on month, last month attracting over 5000 uniques, which is not bad considering this particular character hasnt had many scenes for a few months.
I also have a Youtube video of her which has also been viewed over 7000 times within 6 months.
Now though, she has returned to the series and is again wearing skimpy outfits and suchlike and as a result my visitors has rocketed up to over 1500 per day in the last few days, this could just be a spike, but from what the visitor history looks like, could spell another large leap in daily visitor count.
I have some basic adsense blocks on there but they dont seem to be making much money, i also feel that the Google intelligence cant match the websites purpose up to a relevant ad market, and it keeps showing public service ads!
My question is, with now a great number of visitors being attracted to the site, mainly to gorp at some pictures of the said celebrity, what it the best way to make money from this or indeed what should i be advertising?
Or, another way i suppose is ill just sell the site or auction it off.
