Moving To Mexico - Wireless Service?

Hi Warriors,

My wife and I are moving to Mexico. The place says their
internet is decent, but we NEED a strong connection
to do business.

Do you have suggestions on how we can ensure
we're connected?

I've heard about buying your own 'hot spot' for around $400
but wasn't sure if that was our only/best choice.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

You might try Wild Blue. I was with a high tech company some time ago and we had engineers that used it. The only thing is I don't know if they have "landing rights" in Mexico because it is a satellite service and if I recall the service rates start at about $49 to $50 bucks a mo.

    Good luck.

Thanks for your response. I looked into and it seems good for US only.

      Any other suggestions?

What part of Mexico are you moving to? Internet service depends on the "area".
Have you looked into an international air card? One from your cell phone provider?

Did you know that you can use Public Domain content for articles, blog posts, products, free reports and more? Debra's Public Domain Treasure Hunter blog can show you how....

      Hi Debra,

We're moving to Mahaual on the East coast. We're really 'off the grid' and the Internet connection they have is a satellite.

Does the international air card connect to your laptop as well? After searching online, it seems possible.

However, at $80 a month it might be cheaper to purchase my own 'hot spot' for $400...

Ugh. For an internet fiend such as myself, I'm clueless about this.

Thanks for your help... does anyone else have any suggesstions?

      Best,
