For who asked: i build my sites using wordpress (blogs). I write product review and promote affiliate programs. Also some free and good information.

What do you mean by "what those website sell"?

Hey, thanks for anwser. With that i meant are they selling eBooks wich they send you on email to download, or they send you actual CD's (Beacuse you can see pictures of ebooks and CD's on some of those websites).

If you see CD covers on their website, it doesn't always mean that they will send you a CD. It means that you get a simple setup.exe file, so you can download it, and intall it.

Most of the time, all covers are just for illustration.

1. people create them many ways now days. Wordpress is very common. But people use xsitepro, joomla, drupal, straight templates and hand coded

2.ebooks are advertised on a site, stored on your webserver ( protected of course ) see sam stephens dlg for protecting. And you can collect payment via clickbank.com, paypal.com or other avenues

3. Websites yes have testimonials of people who have used your product and like it, ebook pictures you can get made by ebook designers you can find tons on this forum or go outsource it through an outsource company like elance.com

4. Examples can be found by going to clickbank.com see there

I sell ebooks through wordpress blogs - the blogs are hosted on my own server (through Hostgator) and when customers have paid for the product (through Paypal) they are then directed to a download page.

There have been times when I have launched free products, for list building, in which case I alternate between sending out the ebook as an attachment to an autoresponder email, or sending them to a download page.
