Problems with re-registering aged domains
This morning I needed some information on how the British Red Cross was helping refugees and assylum seekers and came across a link that sounded useful.
www [dot] refugeesonline [dot] org [dot] uk/ - I am NOT an affiliate BTW
Digging around I found that the domain had been regsitered early September this year and has already acheived a PR of 4 and some (maybe 45) pretty heavyweight backlinks. Obviously the domain has lapsed or its been hacked.
I was astounded to see a payday loan affiliate site being advertised on the home page of a charity website.
I am not against re-registering domains (I have some myself), but some will say that doing this sort of thing is entrepreneurial . . . but on a charitable domain??
Cummon!
What do you think?
