Offer Resell Rights....Need Some Advice

I was hoping to get some advice from those of you who have some experience successfully selling resell rights to your information products.

I recently finished a killer new informtion product after a substantial investment in time and money. I now have my hands full with several different projects and ventures and unfortunately no longer have the time to promote and manage my info product. In addition, I also need the extra capital from this info product to devote to my other projects and ventures.

The most sensible solution seems to be to offer some kind of resell rights to the product so I can gather additional capital and free up more of my time.

The only trouble is that I've never really done this before and I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. Rather than just trying to wing it, I'd really like to get some feedback from other warriors who have some experience in this department.

So here are a few of my questions:

1) What would be the most lucrative: MRR or basic RR?
2) What programs are out there that give you full control over your resale rights licenses?
3) How do I go about selling resell rights other than through a WSO or to previous buyers?
4) If I offer RR, what should be the maximum number of licenses I issue?

I greatly appreciate your help on this!

    The problem in my experience with Master Resale Rights is that, while the product initially might sell at $47, you'll quickly find that some shmucks will start selling them at $27 then $17 then $7 then given away, meaning that it becomes a lot harder for other resellers to sell at the originally intended price point of $47.

    The same thing also happens to the rights. You might start out selling them at, say $147, but when you give this right to others, they might choose continually lower and lower prices, the more distant those rights get from you.

    I only ever sell Resale Rights, because it limits the number of sellers, and so makes it much more likely those sellers will be able to sell it at the full recommended price. I also tend to put a price tag of around $147 - $197 for resale rights to my $47 products, which means they only have to sell about 4 to recoup their initial investment.

    My main concern is always having the product DEVALUED for the original rights purchasers, which is the main reason I only sell Resale Rights, not Master Resale Rights.

    Once the product becomes devalued, the Master Resale Rights are also devalued, losing more and more value as prices keep dropping.

    If you don't mind risking the product and rights being devalued quickly, then Master Resale Rights is fine. Otherwise, I suggest sticking to Resale Rights and helping those people to get the most out of those rights.

      So do you use some kind license manager?

      Also, how do you go about selling your resell rights licenses? This one is killing me!
