Life Is Changing My Direction

Life has offered up some strange curves
to me in the last few years, some of which
were pretty devastating. And yet lately
this has taken me to some interesting places
and introduced me to some amazing people.

I ended up working with people in an area thrift
shop and was absolutely blown away by how
these people are making a difference in people's
lives out here in the field. And these are not
well off people either, but people to whom a life
of service to their fellow man is second nature.
Nor do most of them seem to be motivated by
religious belief. They just see a need and ask:

"How can I fill it?"

They have really changed the way I look at what
I am striving for on a day to day basis, as well as
from a business standpoint. (take note of the new
item in my sig)

I will be launching several new ventures online that
approach my own chosen avenues of service from
radically different perspectives than have been
traditionally attempted, and look forward to sharing
them here.

Thanks for sharing this Floyd. You've hit upon something that is missing for many - which is a higher mission that moves you into action.

Most people sit around not taking action and wonder what's wrong with them. That's because what precedes the action is missing for them.

Good for you for discovering something that motivates you to move.
