Split test - 1 product, 2 different names?

Has anyone of you done this?

You produce a product but you give it two different names with two different landing pages and two separate lists?

  • I thoroughly endorse this. I've done it with both health products and edu portals. One, you appeal to a wider audience, and two - you see which market is more receptive to your product.

If you need some advice on how to do it feel free to hit me up.

With my own products I have had multiple landing pages for the same product to target multiple sub-niches, but for a recent coaching client we ran a test on two completely differently named products and we certainly did find some interesting things. Though it was not just the name that was changed - we also changed a few aspects of the sales page as well.
