Is VALUE should always go with a PRICE???...and Anything FREE can't be of great VALUE???

Hi. I just need your feedback on this my fellow warriors.

Just for you to know, recently, I made myself available assisting some fellow warriors to get prospects for tasks to be outsource. I have quite a few numbers of people that I know personally that is into doing some internet marketing tasks and some Ive known by reputation. I also ask for referrals from them and now quite building a network of prospects who are open for job offers to do VA roles, and Im doing all of this at no charge. I dont even consider this as a service, since I am not getting paid for doing such favors, yes, I consider this as a FAVOR. A favor for my fellow warriors to make their life easier, and a favor Im doing for a fellow countryman to make their lives better, by landing jobs. THATS IT!!!

I just feel so bad that there were people who accused me for having a different agenda in doing this things.

Today, I just felt that I want to expand my network to help more people. I approached a person who is into doing trainings for interested parties to become proficient VAs. It is a PAID TRAINING but there is no job placement guarantee after the said training. The training may assist the prospects on how to apply to networks like freelance, odesk, elance etc. but not actually finding an employer for the trained VAs to work for. So I sent the person-in-charge an email saying that I am willing to assist his trained VAs to get a hold of potential employers, again, for free. I explained to him my intentions of genuinely helping our fellows to land a job. Unfortunately, its a total disappointment. He said he is building the VA group so that soon he can charge employers to access the VAs he trained. and he said, ITS BUSINESS!!!

But I dont get, he already earned from the paid training he did and still want to monetize through them, by charging employers access his VA's contact details?

And if he is really sincere helping these people and offer a genuine helping hand he should be open and happy about my offer.

According to him, if he dont charge employers, they will not value the VAs.

WHAT? He said, these are businessmen, they will not find value if he will do that for free...

THIS IS FOR MY FELLOW WARRIORS
do you agree that value should always go with a price?
I need your feedback...

Because of this I replied, that I must agree, that, YES, it is but proper to charge interested parties for the VALUE that they will be getting from the TRAINING BUT I questioned the value that he is referring to, because I must assume that after the TRAINING they must have gotten the VALUE from it and will give added VALUE in them.

With that said, why would there still a need to put VALUE in them by charging potential employers to access his VA list that by the mere fact they've successfully undergone the training they should have VALUE.

I may not be an entrepreneur, I may be a struggling newbie, but I know what is right and I know that we could still share or contribute something for FREE.

Is being entrepreneur should always do monetizing every and each opportunities that will comes along the way?

I still believe that there is something FREE that can still be of great VALUE.

Value should not always go with a price. I have seen great products offered for free. And there are many of them in the War Room, which both of us are members.

So, I think that value should not always have a price. In fact, value in the real sense of it is priceless.

Totally agree. Price does not go with value. Great things are offered for free.

True... But always keep in mind that your freebies should be able to deliver future sales, by being the front end of your sales funnel...

This is a double edged sword. I do agree with you and do the same A LOT!

Sadly, Barry is correct ... we, as human beings, by nature place value in monetary terms whether it be money we receive or money we pay.

I once had a friend that ran an auto body shop and he wasn't the most expensive nor was he the cheapest. Once we were discussing a small job he was doing fixing some dings on a car. The job was easy and took him very little time but the cost a $200-300 and I asked him why.

His response was that he used to charge very little for that sort of job but one of his competitors always got the work. He then adjusted his quotes to a little under his competition and BAM ... he got more and more jobs.

Another aspect is you'll always find "Leeches" which are folks who take advantage of your generosity. Be sure to control those folks or they'll eat you alive.

BUT, the bottom line Chris is to do what you feel in your heart works for YOU! Don't pay any attention to what others say and find someone else to work with if you're uncomfortable with his policy.

I couldn't agree more. We as human beings tend not to value free things, even if they have very real intrinsic value. The majority of people still equate "free" with "little to no value", and we tend to either ignore or take it for granted. You can see it at work in IM right now - if you write a great report and offer it for free on a squeeze page, chances are high people will download it and then never read it. BUT if you charge a fee, even if it is a small one, people tend to pay more attention to it and chances are MUCH higher that they'll actually peruse the material.

This is just human nature at work, and paradoxically you'll often get better results if you charge something (or charge more than your existing prices) for the very same service or product!

Unfortunately there is a misconception by many that anything free is garbage because otherwise why would someone be giving it away? I have been guilty of this line of thinking as well I have to admit but it isn't always the case. I have come across a lot of tremendous things for free. The trick is to have your potential customers see the amazing value in something free and then once they have that expectation from you they trust you enough to spend money on a highly priced item.

    WARRIORS>>>

I read some of yor feedback... It seems that I may not be right this time. Everyone seems to value more services/offer with price tags.

As for me, this is somehow alarming. People are living in such mentality and conceive reality in this way. Why cant we set aside business/money even once and offer genuine help to other people.

Sharing and giving may really be the last things in the mind of every people right now. Everyone likes/loves to receive, get and take; Few cares to share and give.

Is there really someone who is so poor that has nothing to give???>> the answer is YES!!!
HE WHO IS SELFISH, GREEDY, OR LACKING IN FAITH to the abundance of life.

Generally, we are all movers in many and various ways. WE ARE CO-CREATORS. WE ARE STEWARDS. And giving is indicative of our willingness to share the abundance that is inside us. IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE MATERIAL THINGS ALL THE TIME. You can always give your TIME, LISTENING EARS, A HELPING HAND and various forms of services. Let us not focus on the things we dont have, but in the “ABUNDANCE” that we have. I believe, When you give generously, when you share bountifully, NATURE has its way of bringing back what you share.

I maybe alone, but I will not be tired Giving and Sharing with a CHEERFUL heart.

It may be free and may have a little to no value for you but let us all be appreciative of such acts. The fact that it is FREE its something that was GIVEN to us, SHARED. The more we should VALUE it and the fact that it was SHARED and GIVEN to us, the giver knows that we will benefit from its VALUE.

To my fellow warriors. Let us share something. There should always something in us to be shared that can be VALUABLE for others and benefit from it.

To all "GIVERS" "SHARERS" if you will give or share anything that is FREE make sure it has value in it.

Let us all try to change the misconception that everything that is FREE has no VALUE and the price will always determine the VALUE...

    its possible...

Yes most people hold more vauale is paid things, but not everyone. I have learned it is better to give than to recieve.

I'm not sure what the VA program is your talking about, but if I underrstand correctly, if someone pays for the training and then they have to pay for finding a job? Is this correct?

If so, I believe that when you pay for the training you should have free access to find an employer. After all the reason a person is there is to find work because they either don't have any money or very little.

Its the VAs paying for the training, but no guarantees of job placement. From the said training the person that do the training already EARNED from it. And the Employers need to pay to access the VAs contact info

My concern: The same person will GET PAID from both parties, payment from the VA, payment from the employer.

      Is this just and proper?

You already earned from the VAs who have been part of the training and you will still monetize through them by charging the employers?

Why cant you just give the employers their contact info, or if you are not comfortable, let your trained VA contact the potential employers.

With this, you are indeed providing genuine help to your trained VAs by giving them contacts to turn to. They will not remain as MERE TRAINED VAs but you helped them to be an EMPLOYED TRAINED VAs
