Non IM Products For WSO?

I hope this is not a dumb post.

I absolutely love this forum and I am more than glad that I became a full war room member. But I had a question. I didn't notice it in the Warrior Special Offer rules. I also really havent run through to see if there were non IM products.

Can we offer non internet marketing products for a great deal in the WSO forum?

I was wondering because other than marketing on the internet we all do other things. I am sure some of us would like to play guitar in 5 minutes or play better golf.

So ya. That's it. Would it be frowned upon?

Just thinking outloud.

Things like that pop up every once in a while, but the main difference is they usually are attached with Resale Rights or PLR as they are sold to other IM'rs who are looking for niche info products to sell.

You could always do that and offer just normal rights or the option of buying RR and PLR for an additional cost.

No offence but I think you're missing the point about selling to a target market. You might hit lucky but you'd probably get a better return on your $40 investment by targeting a more appropriate crowd.

What L Wilson Said, Your ROI Would Be ALOT Better With More Targeted Leads, Everyones On The Marketing Forum For Marketing Stuff - We Then Maybe Head To The Golf Forum To Check Out Some Golf Things (Example).

Maybe Speak To The Admin Of An Active Forum In Your Target Niche, And See If You Can Sell It On There?

Who Knows, Maybe The Admin Will Let You Use The Forum Name? (Obviously, You Would Only Do This If Its An Active One)

      Take Care,

      Josh

There's very few martial artists that know how to promote. Thus finding affiliates for a martial arts niche becomes taxing.

Would not, therefore, a WSO on one of my martial arts products, also containing a link to the affiliate program, be advantageous in a marketing forum?

in this case i'd lean more toward offering one of the products as a wso with MRR, or PLR rights. if the product is of quality those same buyers will buy other plr products from you. inside the products you can include links to some of your other products that you don't offer plr to.

However if the goal is to get affiliates into your network, what you could do is offer a short MMA report, and offer 100% commissions to affiliates. Put a couple affiliate links in it, or links to your other products and once it gets out there and it's good, it can go viral and spread fast

I think my point might have been a little vague....

I didn't join this forum to get any sales.....That was the last thing on my mind...I came to learn and get better because the people here are amazing.

        But...

The reason for the post was simply...I'm marketing to my niche anyway.....Learning how to get better and better.....If there happens to be some people that could benefit from my product I could give like 90% off for warriors....

Just like a "thank you for being so helpful."

Never meant it to sound like I wanted to market to the forum....Just that if anyone...say was interested in martial arts....One could offer them a great product at a low price.....

Ant this was the best $40 I have ever spent.....

you could do that too. or provide plr to warriors here. i've purchased ALOT of plr articles off this board, so there's a market for it here. i understand that's not your focus but i'd say go for it. i personally know of a BJJ instructor on here. I'm into krav maga and muay thai and am considering selling products in the mma/ufc niche.

as far as big affiliates, try contacting Lloyd Irvin. He's gotta huge list and he made a pile of cash when he launched the grappling blueprint.

But again .... it probably won't go over big. There's nothing at all wrong with marketing to the forum. Marketing isn't a dirty word here, but all you need to do is to check out what is happening in the WSO forum to realize that newbies and others practically live there waiting for the big make money online headline to teach them how to make thousands in a short period of time.

Other WSOs that do ok are useful software products geared towards IMers, and PLR geared towards IMers.

I don't think there's a rule against it, but I don't think it will sell much. People are looking for ways to make money, not play guitar or golf.

    Hey John,

I think everyone here is missing your point but I get what you're saying.

I don't necessarily think a WSO would be the best route but throwing a link in your signature, something along the lines of "as a way of saying thanks to all the kooky kids at the WF, here are some of my products at a super discount rate" and use a coupon or referral code to give a discount at checkout.

Why blow $40 of your own to give a discount when you can achieve the same results for free.

  • I agree with Jason: Why not put something in your signature to show your appreciation?

As far as the WSO goes, go for it. Yeah its $40 but in the grand picture what does it matter. Just make it evident in the title that you are doing this as an appreciation thing.

Some people here seem to be forgetting what the purpose of the WSO section is.

It's not supposed to be a classified section where you pimp anything you have to sell. It's supposed to be 'SPECIAL' offers for your own product/service that you're offering somewhere else and just want to give back to this community by offering your fellow warriors a special offer that is not available anywhere else.

So - if you want to do that for your martial arts product - then there's no reason you shouldn't.

People who think that section is just there to crank out products to and hope they sell are completely missing the point of it - and are also the reason it's so full of poor quality rehashed stuff these days.

It's not all about 'a business decision' where you weigh up your ROI for selling a WSO - it's supposed to be a special for your warrior friends!!!!!!

Yes, you can sell non IM products there. It just needs to be a better deal than elsewhere on the web - and I think you could do well to use it as a triple purpose of list building and attracting affiliates.

Consider offering the product for a limited time or to a limited number of people.

While it's not necessary to add any PLR, a pack of 10 articles to compliment your product and get prospective affiliates interested would be a great bonus.
