Anyone use SEDO For Domain Flipping?

As the title states, do any of you out there use SEDO for domain flipping? Any tips, either for SEDO or domain flipping in general?

I've flipped websites on Flippa for a couple of years now, but its been steadily declining and is now at a point where I don't think I'll continue it.

Sedo is good IF your domains are good...garbage domains are not worth listing as they are trying to sell more quality BUT you are free to list anything you own. I have done better setting up 1 page landers for my domains and sell way more then via Sedo....

It depends on number of pages indexed in google for this domain, google PR and Alexa number may be a factor too...
The higher of these factors, the better results you can get

For most buyers this means nothing. There looking for more generic domains for type in traffic. Those stats come later with there own SEO, as there not looking for domains with old seo done to it...big difference in most cases from flipping websites and domains.

DNC what do you define as garbage domains that people try to sell on sedo? I look for "good" two word domain names that have at least one nice keyword in them and in my mind seem brandable. What further measures can I take know they have a pretty decent chance that they will sell on sedo?

A keyword + anyword does not make it a great domain but maybe a suitable domain. Usually geo+keywords are good OR domains that can be brandable but be aware one mans brandable is anothers junk :p

Unless your domain is of the highest quality, it's impossible to sell on Sedo. The domainers there sell domains that are worth at the very least $500. None of that stuff where you can grab ten average domains and hope to sell them for $50 a pop and come out with the $500 that way.

I have listed all my domain on sedo and I have had few good sales that I did not really even expect to sell that high, their commission is quite high but they do get you lot of exposure for your domain.

I've promoted quite of few domains on SEDO, but never got a sale. I'm sure the domains I had weren't good enough to sell. I've had much more success on Godaddy's Domain Auction Site...

While I don't advocate trying to flip sub-par domains, it's totally incorrect to state that you have to have a domain "of the highest quality" to sell on Sedo. If you look at the domains that are currently at auction (which require an offer to get to that point), I would class very few of them as high quality. Most are fairly average.

The fact is that a domain is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I've seen domains sell for $3,000 that I wouldn't have bothered to register for $7. It often takes patience to find the right buyer.

So what constitutes a "good" domain on SEDO? For flipping, my domains were keyword-targeted so they'd rank well for that phrase. I've put up 20 or so domains, and so far, don't seem to have any interest. Is there a better place to sell "lower-end" domains?
