PAYPAL QUESTION PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I recently opened a PayPal account and was just wondering can you still get paid with PayPal without verifying your account with a debit or credit card.

what I mean is can I request a check without having my bank account or credit card registered with them.

Any answer will be greatly appreciated

I think you can but there are limits on the amounts that can be withdrawn.

I would highly recommend that you verify with your bank. Your life will be easier.

The details about the different PayPal accounts are over at PayPal.com.

    Hope this helps.

I can see why you are confused - I wasn't able to locate the exact page that answers your question over at Paypal. Much easier, I think, to just verify with a bank account. Once you have some money in there, though, you can set up a PayPal debit card to spend money out of your account. I haven't done that myself, yet, as I tend to transfer money into my checking account, but I have a marketing friend back east who uses his PayPal debit card for all his business transactions offline. So I know it's possible, I'm just not clear on how you set it up.

I agree its much easier to verify your bank account, than try and fight with them about getting money. But let me tell you even verifing a new email address is a "learning curve". I recently added a new one and spent about an hour trying to make it work.

In the end I took the solution to verify by phone and that took me just seconds.

Excuse me...but if you're not planning to verify your bank account, and don't want to add a credit card (which means you won't be able to request a debit card)...how are you planning to withdraw the money you'll get into your account??

They will need to verify your physical address to send you a check.

I have no problem giving my address to them it's just my bank account and credit card I don't want to give out.
clickbank sends me cheques without verifying my address.
If by verify you mean giving them proof that I live where I live.
If paypal is different then you are correct.

                thanks for your reply

I can do that. I setup my Paypal account to be backed by my bank debit card so I wouldn't have to mess with a bill, but if I want to track I can Pay with my Paypal debit card and any missing funds would then ultimately come from my bank
