    You might want to insert it two ways...one with your whole URL...because sometimes when people pick up your article and post it on their website, they will not make your anchor text links live. So I would recommend putting two links in your author box.

    Sample:

    http://www.yourdomain.com The domain should hopefully have your keyword in it.

    <a href="http://www.yourdomain.com">Anchor Text Link With Keyword</a>

    Make sure to copy it exactly. It's an html anchor text code.

    Hope this helps.

      The OP can also throw in the "_blank" or "new" attribute, as well...

    I don't think they allow affiliate links. You can have a link to a domain you own that forwards to an affiliate link, however.

    You can put affiliate links directly in your articles. You will need a top level domain (TLD) that redirects to your affiliate link.

    In order to make your domain redirect, copy the following code and paste it into a notepad file.

    Start
    ---------
    <html>

    <head>
    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX,NOFOLLOW">

    <meta http-equiv="refresh"
    content="0;URL=http://youraffiliatelink">

    <title></title>

    </head>

    <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF">

    </body>

    </html>

    ----------------End

    (don't copy the dashes and be sure to replace your affiliate id).

    After you have done that, save the notepad file as index.htm and upload it via ftp or by your hosting account to your server.

    That page will redirect to your affiliate offer.

    Now to put the link in your article, use the following code:

    <a href="http://www.yourdomain.com">Your Keywords</a>

    Hope that helps.

    You can do a domain redirect however if the admin who check your articles see it they will not let your article go live.

    I suggest you set up a landing page for each item you promote, you can not only direct people on from her but can also build your list.

      Correct me if am wrong, But I don't think so that they have anything to do with your domain. They just need a domain, they don't care whether you are redirecting it or not. This thing's no where in their conditions. I think, I am not sure though. But I never heard of it that some article get refused only because of domain redirect.

      What's this all about, John?!

      Here's what it actually says in EZA's editorial guidelines: "Affiliate links will be allowed if the link is a domain name you own which forward/redirects to the affiliate link from the top-level of the domain name."

    I wouldn't touch it, myself, Tom. I wouldn't have touched it anyway, but I also read this the other day on Ben Metcalfe's blog: The .ly domain space to be considered unsafe | :Ben Metcalfe Blog

    Here's the reality: it's very much better not to be dependent on the continued existence, goodwill, availability and changeable terms of service of any unnecessary third-party services for shortening url's, but instead to be fully in control of your own business and its traffic.

    Just look at all the Warriors who had a major panic during last year when Tinyurl suddenly went into bankruptcy and all their links disappeared overnight, and learn from their experience. To someone building their own business, it makes absolutely no sense at all to put yourself in this position, when there are far more reliable, sensible alternatives available which will leave you in control, instead of someone else, if anything goes wrong. And don't let anyone tell you that "bit.ly isn't going anywhere" because that was exactly what they were all saying about tinyurl the day before that one suddenly disappeared!).
